Can I Still Join Njhs

I'm SO confused :S Should I join the NJHS?

I was in NJHS last year and I loved it!!! I would say that you do it. I personally had a LOT of fun. If you volunteer for something that's related to being a veterinarian, then it will really be worth it. Trust me, vet schools will look at any volunteer hours that you log. But anything else in Middle School other than High School classes wont be counted. There are some scholarships out there for kids that want to become a veterinarian that volunteer for things that are related. I took High School classes also during Middle School and got straight A's. So don't worry about it interfering with your schedule. Good Luck and Have Fun!!! ;)

Should I join NJHS? Any benefits of it?

NJHS is for middle school. I am a member and you pretty much do volunteer things around your school and community. It would help you get in to NHS (high school) and that is what colleges look at. So, u would fill out the application. And yes, at my school you have to go to the induction ceremony. Dress nicely: a nice skirt and top or semi-dressy dress with nice sandals or ballet flats and curled hair is appropriate for a girl, for a guy black pants, black dress shoes and a solid color dress top (possibly a tie if recommended). Good luck!

Why should I join NJHS (Natinoal Junior Honor Society)?

I got this letter today from my teacher and I'm having a hard time deciding whether to join or not. Are there any benefits, and If I join what about NHS? Can someone who has joined please tell me?

Does NJHS go through the 9th grade?

It depends on your school district. According to the official website for the National Junior Honor Society (How to Become a Member), students in grades 6 through 9 can qualify for NJHS as long as they are attending middle school (high schoolers can’t join). My school’s chapter only allowed 7th and 8th graders.Best of luck!

Should I join National Junior Honor Sociey (NJHS) if I'm an introvert?

National Junior Honor Society is a great idea for anyone, especially if you are an introvert. To be clear, I am not a member of NJHS. While I am in middle school, it is not an option available to us. In High School though, I plan on becoming a member of the National Honor Society. But, what is NJHS all about? It is about citizenship, service, leadership, and character. These are all things that ever person needs to have. If you want to go out in the world and be successful, you need to be a good leader and have great character. NJHS will help you grow this from a young age.As a fellow introvert, I get your dilemma here. You don't like being around people. Personally however, being around people I know is the best thing I can do to cope with my introversion. I am in Scouts and involve with many other activities. Being in NJHS will help you learn to interact with others and to be a good leader. Here is my advice: Try out NJHS for a year. It will be a good experience for you and you will learn a lot of skills. If you resent it after this, don't do it again. However, I feel that it will be a good experience for you and you will like it in the end. It can't hurt to try.
