Can I Swap Sim Cards Between Iphone 4s

Can I swap SIM cards between two Verizon phones? I have an old iPhone 4S that I need to use while my Galaxy Note 8 is out of commission, can I do that?

The iPhone 4S takes a Micro-SIM and the Note 8 takes a Nano-SIM. To use the Nano-SIM in the 4S you will need a frame to hold the smaller Nano-SIM in the larger SIM slot. Verizon or whoever is going to work on the Note 8 should have one. There are also guides on the net of how to cut one out of cardboard.

Can I put my iPhone 7's sim card into my 4S if not 5S?

It all boils down to the physical size of the of the SIM card.If you have a Micro size card 4G, then use an Adaptor card to enhance the overall size to fit in the phone SIM slot to use it. However you will not be able to enjoy the functions of iPhone 7s features. If your SIM is the Standard 2G card, and the phone slot of the same size, then just plugged it in and use it as it is.Why would you use a more Advanced SIM in an older phone?

How do I place a SIM card in an iPhone?

It's quite a simple process. To remove the SIM card tray from your iPhone or iPad, find your model below and follow the diagram. After you insert the SIM card in the tray, push the SIM tray back in to your device. Insert the tray in the same orientation that you removed it (it will only fit one way).iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus: iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c and iPhone 5: iPhone 4S and iPhone 4: iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G: Source: Remove the SIM card from your iPhone or iPad

Will a SIM card from iPhone 4s fit into an iPhone 6?

The 4S uses a microSIM. The 6 uses the smaller nanoSIM. There are templates available to cut downs microSIM to fit a nanoSIM tray, but it’s probsvlt easier to go to your carrier and ask for a new SIM card.

Can I switch sim cards from one phone to another?

My sister just upgraded her Verizon iPhone 4s to a 5c and her 4s is now a paperweight. I have a T-Mobile Wal-Mart family plan SIM card for my phone, I was wondering if I can get my SIM card to work in her phone after I get it unlocked from Verizon... and if so do I just put it in her phone and it just work or are there steps I need to take?

THANKS to those who answer!

Can I move my SIM card from one iPhone 4S to another?

Yes, you should be able to simply move the SIM card over, provided the phone is not locked to a specific provider. In fact, that would be the major difference between a Verizon and AT&T iPhone 4S -- they will each be locked to their respective carrier networks, so you can't put an AT&T SIM card into a Verizon iPhone 4S.Note that the Verizon and Sprint iPhones are CDMA and do not use a SIM card at all except when roaming internationally. They are provisioned directly on the appropriate carrier networks in the same manner as any other CDMA phone.Beyond carrier locking and packaging issues, however, there are no technical differences between any of the iPhone 4S models (beyond the obvious capacity and colour differences, of course :) ).

How to change sim card from iPhone 8 plus to 4s?

You'd have to get an adapter to use a nanoSIM in a microSIM phone, or you could go get one from your carrier.

Do the iPhone 4/4S and new iPhone 6s Plus have the same SIM card holders?

Apple has used smaller and smaller sim cards over the years.  There have been three sizes.  The initial large size was used up through the 3GS phone. The medium size was used with the 4 and 4S phones.  But with the iPhone 5 and more recent, the small size sim card has been used.  So your iPhone 4 sim card will not fit. However, some people have cut down the sim card to work as the new smaller size.  That can be very difficult to get right.  It's not something I'd personally recommend. It's a lot easier and much more reliable to simply to get a replacement sim card from your mobile carrier.

Will an iPhone SIM card work in an Android phone?

Absolutely. As long as its the right size. If your Android device uses nano-SIM, then the SIM cards in the iPhone 5 and later will work. If it uses micro-SIM, the SIM cards in the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s will work. If it uses the old-fashioned mini-SIM (or "full-size" SIM), the SIM cards in the iPhone 3GS and earlier will work. All the SIMs will work in any Android phone with any SIM card slot, its just a matter of cutting your SIM or enlarging it using an adapter if it is not the right size for your Android phone. For example: if your Android phone uses micro-SIM, and you have an iPhone 6s, which uses nano-SIM, you will need to get a nano-to-micro SIM adapter (very inexpensive; try Amazon if you don't have one) to pop the nano-SIM into the adapter so it will fit in the larger micro-SIM slot. Conversely, for example, if you have an Android phone that uses nano-SIM, and an iPhone 4s that uses micro-SIM, you will need to cut it from the larger size to the smaller size so it can fit in the smaller slot for SIMs. Or get another SIM. This kind of situation usually doesn't happen; iPhones tend to have smaller (and newer-type) SIM card sizes than Android phones. More than likely, it will either fit fine (from nano-SIM to nano-SIM, for example), or it will need an adapter (from nano-SIM to micro-SIM) so it can fit in the Android phone. Sorry for the longer-than-expected answer on a seemingly simple question!
