Why are my notes on my iphone not regularly syncing with my yahoo account. The last notes are two months old.?
Hi Jill, An iOS device syncs differently with Yahoo Notepad than it does with other Yahoo products, like Yahoo Calendar. A "Notes" folder is created in your Yahoo Mail account, not your Yahoo Notepad. Notes you create in the iOS "Notes" app under your Yahoo account will always appear in this folder. Keep in mind that this is a one-way sync from your iOS device to Yahoo. Can't see notepad on iPhone?
On the desktop yahoo mail site, I appear to have two "notes" instances: - One is the "Notepad" button in the upper left-hand corner. - The other is a folder named "Notes" in my mail folder list. These two places have two different sets of note files. On my iPhone 4S, there's a built-in app called "Notes". I have three choices of what to display... "All notes", "On My iPhone" and "myaddress@yahoo.com". I can create a new note on my phone in the "myaddress@yahoo.com" folder and see on my yahoo desktop "Notes" folder (but they are read-only). A "Notepad" note from my PC cannot be seen on my iPhone's Notes or email apps. Also, on my iPhone email app I can't see the "Notes" folder from my PC. All the other mail folders are visible on my iPhone, just not the "Notes" folder. I tried to create new mailbox folder on my iPhone named "Notes", but it failed because it already exists, but it's just not visible on my iPhone. I need one folder (or app), with the same notes files, visible on my iPhone *and* desktop, which can be edited in either place and will stay in sync. Is there a magical app that does all this?

Why does my iPhone's Notes and Calendar sync with my sister's iPhone?
I believe it has to do with cloud storage when you have it on the same itunes account it syncs all of the songs, pictures and notes to the devices.

As long as you're running at least iOS 4, you can sync your contacts. Android apps that can sync with the Yahoo Email Notes folder?
I have an iphone right now, but will be switching to android. I have all of my notes I take with my iphone's notes app saved to the notes folder in my email. Is there an app for android that will let me keep saving all my notes there and get my notes from that folder to my phone?

I lost my phone so as a replacement i got my Dads old phone which is fine but he wants the notes from his old iPhone. anyway i know how to do it using mobile me but the problem is it's an incredibly outdated iphone and doesn't have the option it would have if i updated it. so if i was to update the phone would i lose my notes?

My work gave me an iPhone to use. When I first started it up, there were two notes in there that weren't mine, so I deleted them. A few days later, two more notes (one from three days ago, one from two days ago) recently appeared as if I were the one to create them. Does anyone know how this happened? Howdy! I would suggest this process:*do not connect iPhone to computer*1. Open iTunes->Edit->Preferences, Click on tab "Devices" and check "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically.2. Connect iPhone to computera. Select the device from left hand paneb. Go to "Info" and check mark "Sync Contacts" and choose the correct type of contacts from the drop down. If your laptop and iPhone contacts are different and the phone is up to date vs the laptop you may want to back up the laptop and purge it. If it were me, that is what I would do. I would backup my contacts on the laptop first then purge the address book, then sync my phone back into the contact list. I would do this mainly so nothing was lost/duplicated or any other possible problem that could arise. From there I would then merge the backup into the client again. I have done this previously and then used www.scrubly.com to remove/merge duplicates. I didn't really want to export to xls and clean up the contacts on 2900 or so entries!
