Can I Update To Ios 7 Without A Sim Card

Can I update to iOS 7 on gevey SIM iPhone 4s without getting any issues?

Hello All In addittion to that, there are two kind of sim cards in turbo family. 1) R- SIm and 2) X-sim. R- sim will surely stuck on no Service but if you have x-sim that would work. But surely depends upon your"home network" on which your mobile working on ios 6.1.3.  i would not say that R-sim would not work but possibility is to wait till the new IOS 7 R sim is available in market. If you have waited year for IOS 7 then i do not see any harm to wait further 15 odd more days:)Cheers Love ios Love Steve Jobs         Hello All, I would say YES you can , but still we are prety unsure about the baseband for Apple's IOS 7. as of now we have gevy and turbo sim for update till  6.1.3 baseband 3.4.03.  I know that SOFTWARE update and Network has no connection in so real. but apple always paly safe with this. They either block the gateway or they change the baseband series. I prefer, if you do not want to pay much money for OFFICIAL Unlock then please wait for a week or two. I am sure hackers will have the sollution to turbo unlock sim for Iphones IOS 7. Rest assured there is no harm to update its a beautiful OS ever made, but still to wait. I know you have waited this since long, so thoda or sahi:) And do not update to BETA versions as they are full of Bugs... Thanks A

Should I be able to update to iOS 9.2.1 on an r sim unlocked iPhone without getting network locked again?

R SIM and other hardware unlocking solutions, only support specific iOS and basebadn versions. So, upgrading your iOS version, will relock your iPhone (Unless you use an upgraded R SIM).The best way to unlock your iPhone permanently is with the Official IMEI method. You will be able to upgrade your iOS version and keep your device unlocked forever. It might be a bit more expensive than the R SIM (Which I am not aware of its price), but it is a good investement! You can check iPhoneUnlock.Zone ‘s prices and unlocking times (Double check if your network is supported!).

Can I put a PREPAID sim card in a PLAN phone?

I want a new phone.
The easiest way to do that would be to get one on a plan, ie.
Pay $50/month, Telstra gives you a phone and $50 worth of talk time on your bill each month.

However, I don't want to get carried away and accidentally use more than is on my plan and get charged a fortune at the end of the month.

So my question is, if I get a phone on a plan and put a prepaid SIM card in it, can I just use the phone like an ordinary prepaid phone?

I want to update to iOS 7 on my iPhone  4S that is turbo unlocked. Does that affect anything? Because I'd heard that your phone might get bricked.

Ofcourse! Nowadays no manufacturer offer upgradation to gevey sim or turbo sim due to cost issues. Latest iOS will obviously not support older iOS turbo. You either need to wait for new turbo to be released or go for factory unlock in case of update.Keep in mind, only update if you see any device around you with latest iOS on turbo sim. That means you will likely to save yourself from killing your iPhone.Only officially factory unlocked devices should be updated to latest iOS or only if you don't want to use other sim card than locked carrier.
