Can I Use A Phone From Telus In The U.s

Can I use a US cell phone in Saudi Arabia?

......yes it should be unlocked otherwise, there are many technicians who can unlock it for you but will automatically remove the warranty of the phone in US since it is already opened by others......

Can I use a prepaid TELUS SIM card to phone Canada from the U.S.A., or do I have to put in a U.S. SIM?

Yes, you can.But it would lead to very high roaming rates.IF you phone is unlocked you can buy an AT&T or T-mobile prepaid sim from any chain store, pick a plan and buy an airtime card. Activate it online, and on most plans you can call to and from Canada,USA,and Mexico at one rate. No extra charges.

Do all phones have a place for a sim card?

I am with Telus so i do not use sim cards for my cell phone, but my friend is with a different company and she DOES use sim cards, and she is interested in buying the same phone as me
aka. the LG keybo too.
does this phone or EVERY phone have a place to put a sim card??

How do I send a voicemail to a cell phone without making the phone ring?

log into your voice mail and wait for menu it will say to leave a message for someone push 2 i think on rogers cell. then record your message and then it will ask for the number you want to send it to. Ive done it with my rogers cell phone, sometimes it goes and sometimes it doesnt. Or you can get telus mobility voice mail number, most likely from someone with a telus cell phone in the same area of the phone you want to leave a message. Once you get it, it will ask you to put in the number of the phone you want to leave a message for, and then leave your message as if you phoned them, thier phone wont even ring. Iam still looking for the telus voice mail 9 digit # for red deer alberta. Hard to find. Hope this helped.

Which mobile phone companies in the U.S. use SIM cards?

All of them. Upon the advent of smartphone, SIM cards were being used with Verizon in order to use 4G high speed internet. Verizon still uses CDMA signals for calls and texts, but 4G typically uses GSM, which is where the SIM card comes in. At&t and T-mobile have been using SIM cards for ages. I think Sprint is in the same situation as Verizon in this case.

How can I unlock a phone in Canada?

You can call your carrier and request an unlock code (or in the case of an iPhone they remotely unlock it and you must backup your phone, reset to factory, then restore your backup). There is a small fee (around $50 or so), but if you plan to travel and want to use a SIM card for other countries it is definitely worth it.I recently unlocked my phone and my sons’ phone before going to Taiwan and South Korea. Two weeks in Taiwan cost us approx. $70/each for unlimited data and boy did we use it. Together we used over 90 Gig of data. It was very handy. South Korea was about $30/each for 7 days and even though we used less data, it was still worth it many times over.Side note, if you don’t want to call your carrier, or if some reason they have policies preventing you getting it unlocked by them (as in, you must have it payed off or been paying it off for 6 months), there are other ways. You can always use an unlocking service online. They are usually very reasonably priced and don’t take too long to get a code. Just research their reviews and compare pricing/delivery times and make the decision for what works best for you.
