Can I Use Loreals Wild Ombre Kit Too Lighten All My Hair

I used Loreal preference #3 on my dark brown hair & it turned completely orange .Can you recommend a Loreal hair color to fix that into a blonde tone?

I am so sorry to hear that this happened to you. However, it's sort of one of those cautionary tales about boxed color and dark hair.If you have dark hair, and you attempted to lighten it on your own, and it turned orange… The best thing to do is stop what you're doing, slowly back away from the boxed dye aisle, and run to the phone to make an appointment with a colorist. Now that you're orange, the only way to remove that is by having a professional actually lift the pigment out for you using (probably) bleach and Olaplex. Boxed dye is ~awful~ for your hair, so please take note of that as well. Unfortunately, there isn't a single thing you can put on your hair to magically make it blonde once it's orange. It needs to be lightened once more, BY A PROFESSIONAL, and then toned out to the proper shade of blonde/honey/caramel. Your hair will only lighten so much, we aren't wizards, and getting dark hair blonde is a process for most individuals, even with the use of Olaplex. (Translation: this is time-consuming, even for the best of the best!)Please don't attempt this at home, at best you'll end up with more orange hair, at worst, you'll fry it all off. Make this a learning experience… go visit a professional (seriously, Instagram is a great way to find a colorist who does color corrections), and get this taken care of ASAP! But please don't use boxed dye again! If anything, just don't do that. And please don't just color over it with *dark* boxed dye either. See a legit colorist who can help get you to the color you want to be.

Can reuse L"Oreal Feria Wild Ombre a second time?

So I used the Ombre kit from l'oreal. And it did a good job for the ends of my hair but it Didnt lighten the outer part of my hair the way I like it. If I bought the kit again and did the same process and leave it in longer would It look more gradient? Or will it dye the tips white? Is there a way of just using it to lighten the outer part and making it look natural. I'm afraid that it won't look like and ombre

How to fix ombre hair that didn't turn out light enough?

A few months ago I decided to use the Loreal Feria ombre hair dye kit at home, even though it did work my ends didn't turn out as light as I wanted them to be. I was wondering is there any way I can lighten them more? I know bleaching them again will damage my hair a lot but is that the only way to lighten my ombre look?

Best way to lighten or ombre dye my dreadlocks?

Celebrity wears two-tone hair dye all the time, trying to grow out their dye. They call that look ombre hair color — darker roots, lighter ends — but colorists sees that fading. Women are wanting dimensional color with natural highlights that look like they've been playing out in the sun. On Fashion Police 1-29-13 episode, Khloe Kardashian said: "I had that in 2011!"

"Ombre is the number one poorly done color in this country! It takes a lot of blending and finesse to look natural. The key is to highlight the whole head, then deepen just the roots. Unfortunately, a lot of the ombre I see today is bad - I'm ready for that to be retired! Dye should make hair look expensive and chic. Otherwise, what's the point?" ~ Harry Josh, Hollywood's top hairstylist, who have given Gisele ombre color for 13 years.

That dip-dyed, dark-at-the-roots, light-at-the-ends look that half of Bondi is sporting looks, like, sooo last season.
Hydrogen Peroxide or lemon juice. The chemicals in the pool can do that too! Blondes have long used lemon juice to brighten their highlights when out in the sun. But a combination of lemon and orange juices delivers the most natural looking results. The mix creates a warmer, more golden color.
That depends if your hair is thinning and what other chemicals are on your hair and how are you styling your hair. My son made his black hair blonde using hydrogen peroxide, but I have to warn you, they will be blonde until they're cut off 100%.

Hair lightening from the sun is drying to the hair, it also means they're discolored from sunburned. Add lemon juice to the formula, or any other methods, is the result for double dried & damaged hair.

Chemicals can enter the body through the skin.

London, Feb 20, 2013 I've been saying that since 2009.
Hair dyes, which include home hair colouring kits and those used at pricey salons, are linked to deadly cancer-causing chemicals, warn scientists. In 2009 the Mail revealed that women who used hair dyes more than nine times a year had a 60% greater risk of contracting blood cancer.
A year later the European Commission banned 22 hair dyes which put long-term users at risk of bladder cancer. < < < <

I dyed my hair black from blonde, and I hate it. How can I lighten it up without bleaching my hair again?

I had this same problem.  I've been colouring my hair black for the past year or so but wanted to go back to blonde (my natural hair colour).  But I did not want to a) fry my hair and b) walk around with an orange head!So what I did is this:First step: I went to the hairdresser to add some highlights to my black hair.  The highlights came out a somewhat "goldie" colour and simply lifted the black a bit, yet it did not look too intense, especially after a few washes (as it would have if I bleached my whole head).  So I could still go out in society without looking like a clown.  LOL!  Second step: I waited 3-4 weeks (to give my hair time to recover)Third step: After 3 weeks I put hair colour remover to my hair (NOT the type which has peroxide in it - the type which only removes hair colour).  I don't think the product matters that much - as long as it does not contain peroxide.  Also, go for one that says maximum strength.  The colour remover made a big difference and lightened the black areas to a golden brown colour, while the highlights remained in tact.  So at the moment I'm not yet fully blonde but I now have golden brown hair colour with highlights.  My next step is to wait another 2-3  weeks and then add some more colour remover (or, alternatively, go back to the hairdresser and add some more highlights) to lighten it up even more. The reason I did the highlights first was because the colour remover does have the effect of giving your hair a slightly orangey tone.  But that is counteracted by the highlights (which stays in tact even after using the colour remover).  I also added some toner to my hair to counteract the orange.I think no matter what you do, if you want to lighten your hair from black, you will end up with orange/golden tones so the key is to change it mildly, step by step so that it won't look too intense.

Ombre hair? Can i use regular hair dye with out having to put in bleach?

I was going through the same thought decision too! There is no way around it, you have to use bleach. A good tip to making nice ombré on your tips is to flip your hair upside down and scrunch in the bleach at your ends. Then, tie the hair like that and cover it. It's a lot easier than having to use foil on each strand.

How do I fix messed up ombre hair?

I got an ombre on my hair at a salon today and it looks ok, but there is no progressive lightening and there are a few areas with stark lines from the stylist's brush. All I want to do is lighten the tips and blend the top. My hair is dark brown on top and medium blonde toward the bottom, and I'm nervous about blending the dark and light areas. What kit should I buy (I'd rather do that than mix bleach myself)?

Using A Highlight Kit On Dyed Brown Hair.:/ Please Help!.?

Well originally I was Planning On Getting My Hair Back To my natural colour&then highlighting the ends of my hair blonde. I was going for the ombre affect. But this did not go to plan at all. My hair went darker than expected when I dyed it. Now this is my problem. I have Bought the loreal Paris Perfect Blonde creme Highlight Kit To put on The ends of my hair.(ombre). Now my mum had me do a strand test and i couldnt reaally decide how my hair would turn out, it was a coppery colour:/ So i dont really Know what to do. I really need some advise&Help.!. Ombre hair with hydrogen peroxide?

I want to ombre my hair with hydrogen peroxide because it would be a slower process and less damaging than bleach. I watched a really good video on YouTube but they say go outside in the sun for it to lighten your hair. I can't always go outside so would using a blow dryer work as well? I know heat helps lift hair color so I figured it might work but I wanted some opinions.

Help! Loreal Feria turned my hair orange!?

If you're taking medications sometimes they will pigment your hair and affect your hair coloring.
Bleaching sets stop working after 20-25 minutes, after that it just damages your skin. If your scalp is hurting, apply lotion. I like lubriderm. If it's blistering, try aquaphor at night when you to bed.
If you're ok, or when you're scalp heals, try it again but don't use the hair coloring sets found in grocery stores. I googled Loreal Feria and it has horrible, horrible reviews that all relate to people getting orange hair.
Hair DOES go thru the color spectrum, however it's not something that takes weeks or hours.
Just minutes.
Go to Sally Beauty. Get a Booster Kit, this is the bleaching stuff. They'll know what you're talking about.
Get a developer of 30 peroxide. I wouldn't go 40 because your hair might already be damaged, and 40 is more for darker hair/darker skinned people anyway.
20 minutes. No longer. Your hair should be white or close to it.
Then color it the shade of blonde that you want. I suggest using an ash blonde, don't use anything that says golden. Ashes tend to have more purple in the die which help neutralize the goldens.
