Can I Use My Contract Iphone 4 02 Sim In Another Phone

Can i Use and £20 contract sim from o2 on a Iphone Pay as you go?

I am thinking of getting that sim card from o2 that is about £20 a month and then buying the iphone separate. but i was wondering if you can put a contract sim from o2 into an iphone pay as you go?

Want a new phone, but stuck in a contract?

The handset is NOT part of the contract,
The contract is you pay O2 £60.00 for 24 months they provide you with the allowance you receive

You have to sell the IP5 and buy the Q10 privately

O2 ( never been off it, breathe it all the time) like all other networks will provide a sim card for the handset you use.

Flash forward they deactivate the nano sim and activate the microsim and you retain your current number using the BB Q10.

There may be an additional £5.00 if you opt for BBM ???

**Note all IPhone5 on planet earth are and never will be 4G LTE on O2/ Yodafone/ 3.

There is no upgrade or software fix, the IP5 is 4G LTE ONLY on Kevin "the conga" Bacon's EE

IP5S, IP5C, BB Z10, BB Q10, etc are all 4G LTE ready

4G LTE ready means the handset if unlocked WILL be 4G LTE on any all networks.

***The IP5 is / was the ONLY 4G LTE phone not ready so to speak but EE exclusive***

Your handset is therefore less attractive than the IP5C which IS 99.9999% the IP5 in a plastic coat simply because IP5C is 4G LTE ready

So I have a iPhone 5s on 02 giffgaff and my contract is with three how do I unlock my iPhone?

Giffgaff is a UK mobile telephone network. The iPhone 5S released on September 20, 2013 and discontinued on September 19, 2014 (more than four years ago). So by now, you surely should be eligible for an upgrade.

The final, and only reliable, safe, and permanent, unlock for your iPhone 5, 5s, or 5c, is IMEI or Network Unlocking.

1. First located your IMEI code. This is the unique id for your iPhone and you need to provide it so you can get it unlocked. The steps to find it are below

Method 1: Dial *#06#
Method 2: For iPhone 5 or newer, your IMEI is located on the back of the device
Method 3: For non-activated mobile devices, there is a little “i” button on the activation screen, click it and you’ll see the IMEI on the screen
2. Determine the model of the device you want to unlock such as iPhone 4, 5, 5c, 5s, 6, 6 plus, 7, 7 plus, iPad 2 etc.
3. Choose one of the services we review below in the article and provide the IMEI number
4. Click the Unlock now! button.
5. Pay the fee using either Visa or Mastercard. Enter your email address for updates on the status.
6. You should hear back in 1-3 working days.

If you upgrade to a sim only contract through carphone warehouse, do you keep your number?

My contract ends this month and I am currently on a phone contract however I want to upgrade to a sim only contract. I am wondering if i upgrade to a sim only contract online through carphone warehouse, will it keep the same number etc? I am wondering because it does not ask for any details of your current plan/number so how does it know what contract it is upgrading from? Thanks for any help/advice. P.s I do not want to upgrade through my current network directly as the sim only contracts are more expensive than carphone warehouse.

How do I transfer contacts from a very old Nokia phone to a smartphone?

When you are trying to transfer contacts, first option you need to check if that old phone supports to connect any PC/Laptop, if it supports you can go to contacts app check if you have any import/export option, if you have you can click export to .vcf option it will create .vcf file and save some where, you can copy to PC/Laptop and send to your mail, in samrtphone you can download and import the same file. from contact app.If you old phone does not support to connect any PC/Laptop, the very first option, you need to copy/import all the contacts to your sim, where you existing sim will have up to 64kb to 128kb of memeory, and In samartphone from contacts app you will have an option Import from sim option, by selecting it, will import all you contacts. Thanks,Kinldy Upvote

I just put my old SIM card in my new iPhone and it works fine, but AT&T is telling me that I need to use the new one that came with the new iPhone, why?

I believe that your IPhone 5 works well on 3 G networks and your new IPhone 6 works best on 4 G networks. So the old SIM card may work fine in the new phone but is unable to communicate or detect WiFi or to activate Bluetooth .Do you use these functions or services? WiFi is very useful to you when you need to access the internet. Some places provide free access to the internet, mainly in Malls, or food and beverage providers. The new SIM card that came with the new phone, has been configured, such that you will be able to utilize the full functions of your phone. Your phone number is attached to your new phone through the New SIM card. You can Google IPhone 6 for details of the phone. So, do worry about charges or the government spying on you, unless you are a Person of Interest, being seek by the CIA, FBI, NSA or the Homeland Security.Phone charges were agreed by yourself when you sign up or when you bought the IPhone 6.That being said, charges incurred by your usage of your IPhone for downloading of data or making Long Distance calls are chargeable by the Service provider or phone companies.Hope the above explanation has been useful to you.

IPhone & 02 simplicity?

The only way it would work is if you have a micro sim. For iPhones the sim cards are different, they're smaller. So unless you have a micro sim you can't use yours. I know its a pain because I can't use mine either. You can however cut your sim card to fit the iPhone micro sim size. Look on YouTube for tips. But I'd only do this when you have a spare sim because if you screw it up you'll have no sim card. Hope this helps :) Also make sure the iPhone is unlocked. - if its not and you want to unlock it, contact the carrier that your brother was on to unlock it.

Question iPhone Micro-Sim Card?

um well you can use the iphone as a phone but you need to go into a phone shop and ask for a micro sim, i know 02 give them away free, cause that where i got mine, then you can transfer your number and thing off your old phone to an iphone. I think your dad will have to go into the 3store and ask if he can have his number transferred to a normal to sim to fit any phone(:
yay my iphone should arrive tomorrow:P
ohh btw if you are not on 3 and thats what the iphone is on then you need to get it unlocked, which also means you have to jailbreak it. you can get that done at a local market (think its about £20) or if you know how to do it your self then you can for free(:
good luck<3

How do I unlock my iPhone without a SIM card?

You don't need an active SIM card to activate an iPhone; any SIM card that matches the carrier that an iPhone is locked to will work, or if the iPhone is unlocked, any SIM card should do. You will need to activate the iPhone via a USB connection to iTunes in this case which will processes the activation via your computer over the Internet, and in this case neither iTunes nor iOS cares about whether the SIM card is active. So, knowing this, if you can find an old SIM card laying around, or borrow somebody else's old SIM card, try sticking it in your iPhone and going through the activation process. It will either work or it won't (usually if the iPhone is locked and the SIM doesn't match), but you won't damage your iPhone or hurt anything by trying.Even if you find an old full-sized SIM card, you can cut it down to micro-SIM size to insert into your iPhone. If it's a dead SIM card anyway, you've got nothing to lose by trying this either, and instructions and templates for doing this can be easily found online. If you really can't get your hands on any SIM card whatsoever, your only other option is to resort to jailbreaking tools that will effectively bypass the activation process, colloquially known as "hactivating" an iPhone. A wide variety of information and tutorials for doing this can be found online, particularly if you search for "hactivate iPhone" so there's not much point in going into them in detail here.

Do unused phone SIM cards expire if they are not used?

Some SIMs have an expiry date, so that for instance, prepaid SIMs do not lay around on the shelves of shops for years and years consuming network database resources and costing support and licence fees (and hogging a phone number) whilst earning no revenue for an operator. If they are not used by the expiry date they get removed from the network systems and can not be used.Even once active prepaid SIMs can be turned off if the user doesn’t make use of them for a while. Maybe the SIM can be reactivated in the first months/year, but eventually the SIM is deleted, again, to reduce the cost to the network of supporting SIMs that are not earning revenue. If the SIM is on a monthly contract, it is unlikely that the operator will turn off a SIM that is still bringing in money every month, if only just the line rental.I have a monthly contact SIM that I haven’t used for over a year (one of 3 with the same number, 2 others are still in use), and this is still registered in my operator’s database. I didn’t use a prepaid SIM from another operator for more than 6 months and it got deactivated, but after about 1 year I had it reactivated with the same number. It is technically possible to reactive a SIM even if deleted as long as the full details of a SIM (encryption keys included) are still available. It probably won’t be done as a one off SIM reprovisiong will be a very expensive use of network operator’s employee’s time. It would be much cheaper to activate the old phone number on a new SIM.
