Can I View Photo Stream From My Past Iphone On My New One

How do I view my iCloud photostream online?

If you use iCloud Photo Library then you can view photos and videos synced to your iCloud account on iCloud.com > Photos. Those count against your iCloud Storage Quota though so keep that in mind.On the other hand, iCloud Photostream only keeps photos for 30 days. If you use a Mac, enable Photostream in Photo app preferences so that you can download the last 30 days of photos. You can do this on a Windows PC as well if you have iCloud for Windows installed and have Photostream enabled in the Photos preferences.Keep in mind that the computer would have to be turned on and connected in order to sync Photostream photos that are available.Lastly, iCloud Photo Library doesn't have these limitations and can sync videos as well. It's a great Plan B if you don't backup the data from an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch on a regular basis or import the photos and videos to a Desktop computer.

Can anyone else see my Photstream photos for iPhone?

Essentially no one should be able to see your photo stream unless: 1. Invited to share a photo stream album with them or 2. They have access to your apple email/ID. They would have to sync their device using YOUR apple ID and email to see the pictures. Technically speaking anything going over the Internet can be intercepted and seen, but I'm not over paranoid. I've been guilty of putting more intimate photos on that stream, but that's just me.

How do I view photos from iCloud backup of my iPhone?

My iPhone 4s quit on me so I took it to the apple store and they have backed it up for me. I am very concerned about the photos and will have a much easier time sleeping tonight if I can confirm the photos were saved. How can I view the photos on the iCloud backup without restoring a new phone?

Why do I have 7.9GB of photos on my iPhone when I only have 112?

My camera roll and photo stream combined are a total of 112 photos and videos, yet it says I have 7.9GB of spaced used of photos. It sucks because I don't have any space left at all on my phone. There are no albums on my phone that I can see. Is there another way to store photos, if so where would they be? I need them removed.

How do I delete photos on my iPhone 5 from iCloud?

I have had my brand new iPhone 5s for about 3 months, and when I first synced it with my windows 8 computer, I randomly got all of these old photos from when I was like 10, and I can't delete them at all, I've tried turning photo stream on and off (the photos don't appear in there, and I can't move them anywhere). I really want to delete them because it's just taking up space. any ideas?

Can you view someone else's photos using apple ID?

I have an iPhone and my mom gets all of my messages somehow using my apple ID. Since it is most likely connected with iCloud, does she also get my photos? I know the photo stream backs up to iCloud, which I turned off, so would my normal camera roll photos be viewable for her as well? I'm curious.
Thanks!

IPhone photo album is frozen?

I tried to attach a video through my photo album to an email. It said it was too long and to try to shorten it... so I cut it in half. It then said "preparing video". It's been stuck on 50% for 14 hours and now I can't take any pictures or even view my pictures because my photo album is froze in the "preparing video" stage. How can I fix this?

If I erase my iPhone, will the photos in my "iCloud Photo Library" be deleted?

Thanks for the A2A.The short answer is no.When iCloud Photo Library is activated, the master copy of your pictures and videos get stored in iCloud.Erasing your iPhone happens at the device level and, despite erasing all the photos and videos at the same time, this does NOT send any signal to iCloud to do the same on the server. For this to happen, you need to manually tap on the small bin from inside the Photos app.In fact, even manually deactivating iCloud Photo Library from your iPhone keeps all your pictures and videos safely stored in iCloud too.The thing is, if you intend to sell or give away your iPhone, it’s best to manually sign out of iCloud first, which will deactivate iCloud Photo Library anyway. For more information about the complete procedure, have a look at this Apple Support article:What to do before you sell or give away your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touchHope this helps!

When I delete photos off my iPhone will they still be on my iCloud account?

It depends how you configured your iCloud account.iCloud Photo LibraryIf you activated "iCloud Photo Library", when you'll delete photos/videos from your iPhone, those will be moved to the "Recently deleted" folder. After 30 days, those photos will be automatically (and permanently) deleted from iCloud, which I guess is what you’d like to avoid. If your real problem is the lack of space on your iPhone, then I'd suggest to activate "Optimise iPhone Storage":Open SettingsPhotos & Camera"Optimise iPhone Storage"This will replace some of your pictures and videos with lower resolution versions which take much less space on your device.iCloud BackupIf you did not activate "iCloud Photo Library", but activated iCloud backups, then the space used on iCloud is coming from your backup. The deleted photos/videos from your iPhone won't be included in the next iCloud backup, which means that they cannot be restored to a new device. My PhotostreamIf you activated My Photostream, then photos taken in the past 30 days will still be on iCloud’s servers even if you delete them from your iPhone.Like with iCloud Photo Library, as soon as those photos are more than 30 days old, they will be removed from iCloud and can’t be downloaded on other devices anymore. Please note that Live Photos and videos are never uploaded to My Photostream.Alternative to iCloudIf you want a solution that allows you to delete photos/videos from your iPhone, yet have them backed up and available remotely, then I'd recommend any of the 2 following strategies:1. Third-party Cloud storage solutionsAmong the most popular, you'll find Google Photos, Dropbox and OneDrive. The way this work is about the same:Install a companion app on your iPhoneGoogle PhotosDropboxOneDriveLog into your cloud storage accountManually upload all the pictures from your iPhone to the Third-party cloud storage serversActivate the automatic upload of new photos & videosDelete unwanted photos and videos from your iPhone 6s2. Personal Network Attached Storage (NAS)In this case, rather than relying on a third-party, you'll upload your pictures directly onto a hard drive that you control (and most of the time attached to your router at home). For more information, visit this answer: Damien Schreurs's answer to How can I back my iPhone data (photo/video) to a NAS drive?Hope this helps!
