Can I wear converse if I work at Starbucks?
I am thinking of applying for a job at Starbucks but I am concerned I may need new shoes. I have old black converse with some small holes and newer grey boots. Can I wear black leggings? I just want to be prepared before I ask them about working there.

How do you wear Converse with socks?
If you do wear them obviously majority of the time with low tops, they look normal. For a general look wear ankle socks, if you want to be a little different, over the ankle socks, but not with jeans. Don't wear socks if they pull right up to your hemline of whatever you're wearing, unless you're a girl going for the school girl type outfit look. For hi tops, wear either short ankle socks so no visibility, or wear socks that come out a little by about 3cm. Wear this look with shorts, miniskirts e.g. Can wear with jeans but if you want to make a statement that won't be so obvious. Don't take this advice if you disagree, whatever, it's your choice. But my rule is to ALWAYS wear socks anyway except if you're wearing sandals or heels, and just so you know, most of this advice is directed at females.

Well, it sounds as long as they're black, you can wear just about any comfortable low quarter shoe. I was going to bring up the idea, that since you're on your feet a lot, the All-Stars might not be my first choice since they're a little lacking in cushioning and arch support. But, you obviously dig 'em and feel comfortable in them and like how they look so who am I to mess with success?Oh, BTW, Converse All-Stars are *not* skate shoes ...the are "Old School" ...like *really* old school ...basketball shoes. When Cons first came on the market way back 1920(!) they were "the" sneaker ...in fact other than Keds and PF Flyers ...that was it.So the next time you lace up those All-Stars to go to work, you're wearing a piece of history ;-)
What do I wear with knee high Converse?

yes, because as long as you can dance in your converse, you can wear it! Unless they give you a dress code, you can wear converse in the class. I used to take Zumba class and i wore my black converse there... :)
