Why do blind people wear glasses when they can't see?
I have 20/200 vision, or 10 percent visual acuity. What a normal person sees (yeah, I said a normal person, sue me) at 100 m, detail wise, I see at 10 m. So, basically, you all have 4K TVs and I have a 13 inch portable TV from 1974.I wear glasses because, like many blind people (20/200 is the cutoff in Canada for being blind) I actually can see some. I don’t see well, as noted above, but I can see. My vision has always been like this, so, at 51, I am pretty used to it. I played hockey as a kid (I am Canadian, it is the law) and football in high school.I have no binocular depth perception, I have a nystagmus (my eyes move uncontrollably) and, well, about 4 other things wrong with my eyes. This is due to a genetic condition I have called Ocular Cutaneous Albinism or OCA.Anyway, I’m blind. However, my glasses help me see a bit.The CNIB (Canadian National Institute For The Blind) ran an excellent ad campaign few years back pointing out that many of us actually can see some.
Where/How do I pick up my new dog from the airport?
I've bought a new dog recently and he will not be sent to me till next week. I'm going to have him shipped either to Traverse City, Michigan's Airport or Saginaw, Michigan's Airport through Delta Airlines. If you could tell me where to go in advanced to pick up my puppy or any information that would be very helpful. Thank you.
What are the different types of forklifts?
I would look at the different types of forklifts in terms of their function. The are quite a few types of forklifts that serve different functions.1. The three-wheel counterbalance forklfits offer enhanced maneuverability and are extremely ideal for tight and narrow aisles.3. Reach Trucks – Reach trucks are more commonly used in warehouses where the racks are stacked high and you need a forklift to get items down are load them onto high shelves. Reach truck may vary in terms of their mast as well as the fork length. The most common is the Stand-up truck where you there is only one load per bay. The double-deep trucks have extra long forks for your to pick items which are right at the back of the racks.4. Powered Pallet Trucks – The powered pallet trucks or electric pallet trucks are a lot smaller then the counterbalance forklifts or the reach forklifts, they are used to carry small loads and packages around the warehouse.5. Sideloaders – Sideloaders are built to operate in narrow aisles which help to save on warehouse space. The forks are mounted on the side of the forklifts and they are able to pick up longer and wider loads.6. Teletrucks – Short for telescopic forklifts or telescopic handlers, these forklifts are able to reach heights and angles that most forklifts are unable to. They are often confused with cranes though.
My boston terrier is socially retarded?
I have a two year old Boston Terrier, and he does not get along with other dogs at all. Whenever I take him on a walk, I need to pick him up when we see other dogs because he just goes crazy and attacks them. Not the friendly, fun attack either- he yaps like crazy and his just vicious. Also, whenever other dogs catch his scent, they go crazy even if he hasn't noticed them. Even if they are perfectly trained dogs, they just start yapping and trying to yank the leash from their owners hand. It's getting out of control. My baby is a boy, and I can't take him out for a stroll without him attacking another dog! Oh yeah, he's GREAT around people. Every person that meets him falls in love with him.
Why was Vision able to lift Thor's hammer in Avengers: Age of Ultron?
Maybe it was all just to let them know Vision can be trusted. That was the question that was asked n the hammer gave them the knowledge he is trusted…I’ve seen lot of questions asking why the Vision is able to lift Thor’s Hammer.The thing is, Vision isn’t worthy in my opinion.Sure, Vision is a beast in Age of Ultron and Civil War.He manipulates Ultron’s matrix for a while.He Can wield an Infinity Stone and can use its power.But………Yeah.He gets completely wrecked in Infinity War.He gets completely beasted by Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight(Who also happen to be a married couple) and loses his phasing powers in the process of fleeing with Wanda.Thor, on the other hand, later shows up with his new hammer, all filled with potential.He completely destroys the Outriders, and nearly kills Thanos as well.This is the Thanos that trained the entire Black Order.Vision is supposed to be equally overpowered if he is as worthy enough to lift Mjolnir.So let’s recap……Thor wrecks Thanos who trained Corvus and Proxima who wreck Vision….If Vision is as equally powerful as Thor, then he should’ve at least defeated one of the two that were sent to kill him.So, on to the theory.Vision is not worthy.Allow me to explain.Let’s ask ourselves: How was Vision born?Well, he was first given a Vibranium Body by Ultron.He was also given the Mind stone by Ultron as well.He later goes into the hands of the Avengers.Here’s where it gets interesting.Tony Stark transfers JARVIS’s Matrix into the VisionSee what I mean?The Vision is not the Vision, it’s the combination of the Mind Stone’s power with JARVIS’s knowledge.Vision is not alive.He is just an embodiment of the Mind Stone with the assistance of JARVIS.Logically, the Elevator can lift Mjolnir.If you place Mjolnir on top of Tony Stark’s table, it won’t crash down.The Clothes hanger in Dr Strange’s place can withstand it.Heck, even the Ground is worthy!You see?Things that are not alive aren;t within the “Whoever” that Odin enchanted. A table and a clothes hanger isn’t exactly worthy, or even a “Whoever”.Vision is not alive, and that is why he can lift Mjolnir.
Is black magic dangerous?
Whenever you try to harness the energies of the unseen worlds in order to interfere with the free will of another person you are 'causing harm'. This is not good for you and will cause Karmic repercussions. Ask yourself how you would feel if someone you didn't care for tried to do this to you? If the object of your affections does not love you then accept the fact - painful though it may be - and make a determined effort to move on emotionally. Trust me, there are people in your future who will love you without your ever having to go to all this trouble!
