Lungs hurt after smoking weed?
Hello, I am a freshmen in college living in Jacksonville. I have been smoking weed every day from about junior year of high school to about 2 months ago. I would smoke sometimes a quarter ounce of bud with my friends and would smoke 3-5 times daily, almost an excessive amount. We would even do hash oil dabs often, 1-2 grams a weekend. About 2 months ago I took a hit after dinner with my friends. The bowl was already burnt, my friend just wanted me to hit the bowl to clear it. I did a HUGE hit, clearing the entire bowl. I usually do hits this big, if not bigger, but right after wards I felt a pain in the middle of my chest and it felt like my lungs were constricted. I didn't smoke weed the rest of the day and ever since that day my lungs have felt week and constrict/have pressure after I smoke. I don't smoke often at all now, when I vape it doesn't hurt so much but still makes them feel constricted. It's been since July 20th and they're still weak when I smoke. My lungs have NEVER hurt before from a hit, only my throat. I have an EKG and Chest X-ray and they didn't say I had anything. Plus, right after that night that I took the hit, I developed bronchitis about a couple days later that had me coughing out greenish/grey mucus for a month. I even spit some out every now and then recently. The weed wasn't moldy or laced because my friends hit it too. Please help, I want to know what I did to my lungs. I don't smoke cigs or tobacco. It was a bong that I took the hit out of.
What are the effects of smoking moldy weed?
Nothing good… Causing cannabis to mold and then smoking it means, at the very least you are going to be sucking in a ton of mold spores. Depending on your system, allergies and the type of mold making the spores it could do nothing or it could result in some type of reaction. The important point is that nothing about mold growing causes cannabis to become more potent, only more hazardous.Smoking moldy cannabis is kind of like eating moldy strawberries, you can and it likely won’t kill you… but you certainly aren’t going to look like the smartest person in the room.
Can weed still be smoked if a little wet?
i just dropped a blunt in some kind of dirty water.. if i hold onto it and let it dry it mite mold so i dont wanna do that so can it be smoked if its a lil wet? i wanna know before i mix it in with the dry weed.
Is it bad to have moldy weed and is there a way to remove mold from marijuana?
I wouldn't say its bad just means you don't have time to smoke up haha. But threat not there is a way to revive that pot of mold.Its called water curing takes time but bare with me.Place the moldy bud in a jar and fill with regular tap water until the bud is submerged. You will have to rig some kind of method to keep the bud completely submerged because some of it will want to rise above the surface. SImply putting a lid on it will not work. I usually use a weighted plate to hold it down.Keep in a cool dark place for 24 hours then take it out and you will see dirty murky water. Pour it all off, then refill with fresh water and stash again for another 24 hours.I was told to do this every day for 2 weeks, but in my experience the bud is completely clean in less time.Every day, when you change the water, notice how dirty it is, when you have had several days of pouring off crystal clear water, you are done. Every trace of mold will be gone.Drain the bud and dry as usual.The upside is you will have the smoothest, cleanest smoke you have ever had, with all the original potency intact. In fact, some people say it increases that potency, because it takes out plant material but leaves the THC, thus making the thc more concentrated.The downside is your lovely bud will now look like schwag, but who cares if your using it yourself, you know its not shit.
Asthma attack after smoking weed?
Ok so I was with my boyfriend last night and he asked if I wanted to smoke weed with him. I've never smoked before and I was curious what it would be like! (He also told me that it would make sex feel amazing!! :p ) So he lights it up and smokes a few times before handing it to me while telling me how to use the pipe! I really could not get up the confidence to do it when I smelt it and saw how it was done so my boyfriend was patient and let me hold it and kinda just think if I really wanted to do this. So after awhile he suggests he could take a whiff and then breath it into my mouth as a kiss. I felt better doing it like that so I said yes and I inhaled as he blew it into my mouth. But as soon as I inhaled I coughed like no other and I could not breath at all. I had to take short raspy breaths to just get air. My chest and my throat felt like it was on fire. I did not know what to do so I started to cry and I mean really cry, I had never sobbed so much before and luckily since my bf was high he did not panic but he threw me down on the bed which he told me would open up my airways. It still hurt and I really could not breath still so my bf ran to his dads car and got his dads inhaler which actually did help after I used it. So my question is this, what the hell happened? Did I panic? Did I have a weird reaction to the weed. My bf and I just cant figure it out!! Any advice would be great! ^_^
Why did I puke 6 times after smoking weed?
Weed isn’t for everyone. You should first identify if there was anything that could cause a negative reaction to smoking weed:Where you drinking alcohol, taking medication, or any other substance that could potentially interact negatively with the effects of weed?Did you smoked on an empty stomach? this is a game-changer, because that could enhance a “light-head” reaction and cause you a “bad trip”. Before smoking -and very importantly if you are rookie- you shouldn’t be hungry or thirsty.Did you smoke way to much? Be auto-critic and consider if you really over-did yourself there. If you aren’t a heavy smoker, it would be difficult to tolerate the same amount that Snoop Dogg has for breakfast!Do you know the source of that weed? you have to be careful, specially the recreational stuff that is sold in the streets illegally and cheap, bc its often to see weed blended with other stuff to stretch it and make it cheaper.Was it fresh? because if it was storaged poorly, it could have grown mold. So smoking compromised weed is a real struggle and you should be careful on how to store it.If any of these apply then, you should be more careful next time. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it next time. But if none of these apply then maybe it could be some kind of allergic reaction or maybe is not your thing. That’s cool too, not all bodies function and behave the same.
Is it bad to smoke old weed? Why or why not?
It depends on how it's been stored. If in a sealed container like jar or sealed baggy it should be fine. Dark cool storage. Sun or heat exposure will affect potency however
Old Marijuana...Can I Smoke It?

If weed catches fungi, is it still safe to smoke it?
It's definitely not a good idea. The "fungus" you're describing is most likely moldy weed, which is caused by your weed getting too much moisture. Some people tend to be able to smoke it with no problems, but inhaling mold spores is very bad for you whether you get fucked up or not, some people get bacterial lung infections and for others it's more serious. I personally wouldn't do it... if you end up getting too desperate for the weed and smoking moldy weed, you may get a bacterical lung infection and then end up not even being able to smoke for a month because of the infection..
