Can My Latios Level 90 Learn Luster Purge

How to catch latios easily in pokemon emerald?

If you still have it, the Masterball will be the best and easiest way to catch Latios. If you don't have it, you'll need to chase it down. Here's how to catch it:

First, make sure you're Pokemon are strong enough. If you're going after Latios, then you've defeated the Elite Four and you should be good to go. Latios will be level 40 when you encounter it. You'll encounter it randomly and only outside (not in dungeons, caves etc) but when you do, it will show up on your Pokedex so you can see where it is and chase it.

Here's the rub. Latios has a high tendency to flee when you encounter it. To prevent fleeing, you'll need a Pokemon that can stop it. You can do this a few ways, including using a Wobuffett with the special ability Shadow Tag, which will prevent Pokemon from fleeing. Some Trapinch have the special ability Arena Trap, which has the same effect. If you don't have one of these Pokemon that is strong enough, then you'll have to use a move to stop Latios from fleeing. For example, the moves Mean Look and Block will stop a Pokemon from fleeing--but only if your Pokemon is fast enough to use the move before Latios flees. Also, the effect of these moves is lost when you switch Pokemon--something else to keep in mind!

I made the mistake of trying to catch Latios the hard way--no Masterball. I wound up catching a wild Golbat from Victory Road, raising it a few levels (about 50 or so), made sure that it had the move Mean Look and used that to chase down and catch Latios. I also had to use a few healing items on Golbat because Latios is a Dragon/Psychic type and knew a few Psychic-type moves, against which Golbat is weak. It took a few Ultraballs, but once Latios was sufficiently weakened it was a fairly easy catch.

I can't catch Latios in SoulSilver...?

1. Use a weak electric pokemon and get it to attack it, therefore paralyzing it.
2. No master balls? I used cheats to get a master ball, but that's probably not a good idea
3. Use a pokemon with an Arena Trap-like ability. Luster Purge shouldn't own that...
4. Poison it. Not only will that reduce the chance of it running away, but it will just be fun to slowly kill it like that. But don't let it die, of course.
5. Were their repeat balls in that game? I'm not sure if that's what it's called, but the pokeball where, the more turns in battle there have been, the better chance there is.
6. Pretty much any killer status effect. By killer, I don't mean one that would actually kill it. XD
7. Get yourself a pokemon that knows hypnosis! That ugly little one that, at low level, will always try to run away from you but is pretty easy to find, that'll work. Or just teach the move to something.
8. Cheat
If all else fails...give up.

Rate my legendary pokemon team?

well my first thoughts were WOT A WASTE OF A MEWTWO and 3 FIRE MOVES ON Ho-oH.
if that ho-oh comes up against a water pokemon or electric it is screwed
and mewtwo come on how can he attck like that, i say the best moves for mewtwo are eihter icebeam, thunder, calm mind and recovery: this set after a calm mind it doesn't matter that mewtwo wont get STAB (same type attack bonus) off any more because his stats will be really high and no pokemon resists both ice beam and thunder
or taunt, calm mind, shadow ball and ice beam: taunt to stop people affecting yr calm mind and then shadow ball for any other mewtwos and then ice beam

for Ho-oH give it either sacred fire, earthquake, punishment and return or fire blast/flamerthrower/overheat, thunder, shadow ball, hidden power ice/earthquake/sacred fire

lugia looks gd

cant think of one for latios sorry

What Pokemon should I add to my Battle Frontier Lv. 50 Team in Pokemon Emerald?

appropriate in the initiating i might decide to declare that I waste approximately 10 minutes of my existence on each and every and each of people who I answer and all i'm getting is 2 factors in return, no staggering recommendations. besides.. Tyranitar 4/10: effectively it has no sturdy strikes, the only clever bypass is Hyperbeam, it is over 2 turns so this is undesirable. additionally no fire-sort strikes it is in basic terms stupid coming from a fire-sort Pokemon. Venusaur 9/10: great bypass set, till coping with a physic sort that Pokemon will very final a jointly as in conflict. Arcanine 9/10: sturdy bypass set, great for Arcanine! My merely suggestions are for Tyranitar, yet diverse than this is extremely sturdy. team: 7/10

How to catch Latias/Latios in Pokemon Emerald?

What you have to do is catch a zubat preferably one that is already like level 8 then evolve it to golbat at levek 22. First you have to make it like you theb go to the fan club in Slateport city and talk to the lady in the back she will say that you have to come back when your pokemon loves you and to do that is to battl it with the pokemon in the grass just above the city and wben the electric pokemon you battle use thunderwave cause they will take it directly to the pokemon center and heal it after every battle and also give it a lot of berries that say make a pokemon friendly but lower stats dont worry about rhe ones rhat lower spwcial def. And special atk. They wont lower them and when you do rhat go back to the fan club talk to the lady again, she'll give you the soothe bell. Give it to zubat and when it evolves into golbat it will hopefully evolve into crobat at level 23 asit did with mine. Level it up til it learns the move mean look. Then level it ro 40 then go for them w/mnlk

Depending on your starter spot 6 varies1st Gareevoir: Psychic, Calm Mind, Hypnosis.Last move varies a lot, can be either Shadow Ball for mirror types or Dream Eater for sustain, also Magical Leaf (can only be learned by Kirlia on FR/LG by the move reminder) or Shock Wave for never miss hits.2nd Ninjask: Iron Claw, False Swipe, Swords Dance, Baton Pass. Not much to say, build stats for baton pass and low HP as much as possible for higher capture ratios.3rd: Gyarados Twister, Bite, Trash, Earthquake,Good physical sweep, earthquake to get rid of grass and really useful on double battles.4th: the HM slave of your choice, if starter isn't Swampert use Skarmory for Cut, Fly, Rock Smash and Drill Peak5th your starterif you picked Swampert make it your water HM slave + Strength for STAB damage, he hits like a truck even against resistant types, while having moves with a decent amount of PP he can clear victory road with ease.Sceptile, Leaf Blade, Toxic, Dig, Aerial Ace, all around sweeper, can switch Dig for False Swipe for capturing, in which case, keep dig on Ninjask.6th: Finally, if the starter was Sceptile use Milotic, Rest, Surf, Waterfall, Dive, same as with Swampert but with a much higher damage output. If starter was Swampert use Salamence, Dragon Breath, Crunch, Flamethrower, Fly, not much to say, favourite sweeper of gen 3I don't mention Blaziken because he alone can sweep all the way to victory road with Double Kick, Blaze Kick, Aerial Ace and Double Team, but Salamence applies here too with Iron Tail or Rock Tomb instead of Flamethrower
