Grammar question: Can you say "I put my family above everything else"?
Hello, I know that you can say you "put someone above anything else", and you "put someone before anyone else". In other words, sentences number one and two below make sense and are grammatically correct. 1. I put my family above anything else. 2. I put my family before anything else. My question is can you use the word "everything”instead of "anything”? In other words, do sentences number three and four make sense and are they grammatically correct? 3. I put my family above everything else. 4. I put my family before everything else.
WIC question...My husband makes way to much money to get on WIC but I see woman abusing the system all the?
I don't think abusing the system is the answer and lying is only going to get you in trouble. BUT, I do see exactly where you're coming from. We are a lower middle class family struggling every step and it makes me sick to see people getting help abuse it or people who don't deserve help get it. My husband makes just enough for us not to qualify for WIC and it's so frustrating b/c we need help and there's none there for us. I'm a stay at home mom b/c if I were to put our daughter in a daycare I wouldn't make enough to cover gas, clothes, and the daycare bill and come out on top. Just stick in there - clip lots of coupons - PRAY LOTS - and really watch your money - you'll make it - best of luck. - and don't do anything you might regret or could come back and bite you in the behind.
Why does my spouse continually question everything I do?
You need to keep doing all the good things. If your a stay at home dad then it is ok. If not and both work I recommend she stays home and work and cooks, cleans and other woman things and you do the guy things. You need to sit down and talk in a private place with time to talk. Hug your partner while saying soft and sweet you love her soooooo much and when you do things it is ok to let me focus. When yes then kiss and make love. This will make your relationship very happy. A good life make sure you don't play games and straight forward to your wife. Make sure you protect your family from outside by working only and your wife is a stay at home mom. You can do all the home manly things. If plumber or whatever needs to go to the house make sure you see them the whole time. Give love to your wife always and hear her out and then you have to make the decision. Also be responsible for the family. Make love to her as much as she wants. Be attentive to the kids and your wife. Make sure you save, pay your car with cash, your house with cash and then retirement. Make sure you raise your kids right to be good adults. By all this your married life if you choose will be a fulfilled one. On another note: Try your best. Love like you never love before.
