Can My Tunisian Boyfriend Get A Visa For Short Visit To Meet My Family In England

I have a tunisian boyfriend, he's muslim. does this make much difference to our relationship? im from england

his religion does not bother me as i love him for who he is, but i have heard that muslims are allowed to have more than 1 wife, that they are 'allowed to hit their woman', if we were to have children then he would automatically get custody if we was to seperate etc.. i want to have a future with my boyfriend and dont think/feel he is like this. my friends are very cynical about him being genuine, that it was just a 'holiday romance'... but he has been texting and ringing me every day without fail? i feel in my heart that he is genuine, and i can see a future with him although he is miles and miles away. he has never asked me for money or to come to england. i realise there are good and bad apples amoung us regardless of culture, country etc.. i am due to go to tunisia in 3 months and spend time with my boyfriend. i cant wait. i miss him more than i can express. any advice would be much appreciated.....

Would you be denied entry into Israel if You have Arab Visas or Stamps in Your passport of Arab countries?

The issue of passport stamps is a very contentious one in the Middle East though, and several countries won't allow you to enter if you have an Israeli stamp Syria and Lebanon are among the strictest. However, Israel doesn't impose restrictions on tourists entering who have already travelled to Arab countries.

Can I apply for a Schengen visa while unemployed?

You can definitely apply for a Schengen Visa even though you are unemployed, subject to satisfying atleast the following criteria:1. Confirmed return tickets and hotel bookings2. A very strong intent to return to your home country (this is probably the most important since your current employment status might be viewed as a potential "immigrant" crisis)3. A financially strong sponsor (preferably a close relative)4. A "genuine" purpose to visit the Schengen area considering your current financial and employment statusBesides this, there might be a host of factors that the Embassies might consider but try to give them as much information as possible and hopefully you should be good if there are no problems!Best of luck!Cheers!

I have never met this man I am falling for, he lives in Algeria, me in America. Why would he want me instead of a Muslim from his own country?

Hello, I am from Algeria and living in the United States so I am a familiar with both cultures, besides this is the 3rd time I receive a request to answer this question.Just because someone if from Algeria, he can be a Muslim or merry an Algerian woman, even if he is a Muslim, there is no prohibition of marrying someone from another religion or an atheist. There are many reasons an Algerian may fall in love with you, we can start with your beauty, your personality, your knowledge (the list is quite long). He may also want to move from his country, start a new life with someone, live a happy life. But let’s see the facts, you live in the United States, you have a US citizenship or Residence and this is someone every human can dream about. He lives in Algeria, the country is not progressing, and the government is corrupted, every single Algerian want to move abroad and work hard for a better life.I can not speak on behalf of your friend, but personally, living in Algeria was a nightmare, I worked like crazy to travel in Europe and I ended up in NewYork at the age of 25, not all Algerians have the luck I had (but they probably deserve it as much as I do, because they are amazing hard working people). One last thing : Algeria is a very safe country, even if a large portion of the population is Muslim, they are all against religion extremism, and everybody contribute to the fight of possible terrorism (we lived what we call a black decade) so you do not really have to worry about that.Feel free to send me a private message if you have more questions.PS : I used my phone to answer this question, I probably skipped a couple of topics and made some typo errors, I apologize in advance.

Thinking about college in Tunisia?

Hello, It's rare to find someone from the US going to college in Tunisia.
I can't really answer you about finding a job in the US embassy, but I can tell you that you can find a lot of jobs at call centers or jobs that requires English-french talking.
Speaking of visa, since you're a student, having a visa won't be an issue, there's a lot of foreigners from africa who study here and it won't cost you a lot i'm sure.
Public transportation is always available from Tunis-Sousse, you can take the train which the trip will last between 1:30 hour to 2hours it would cost you ~9$
I don't have a wide information about the college you are going to, but it's one a of the best Private college in Tunisia, and even if they do not offer campus housing you can still rent a small room near-by, Usually students rent an apartment in groups so they can make the rent payment much easier to themselves, as for an individual renting (renting a small room) might cost 180 DT per month not really sure, you can ask your BF about the renting price.
Internet Access doesn't cost a lot in Tunisia comparing to other countries, you can refer to Orange (broadband) You'll just have to pay 30 DT per month but you need to have the 3G Kit to access to the internet and that would cost you 90DT.
Hope this helps, feel free asking me by emailing me.
Okay Bye !

Are EU family members allowed to work in the UK?

Yes. Broadly speaking, EU freedom of movement rights apply to EU citizens and their family. If your spouse lives and works* in the UK, or in any other EU/EEA country†, then you also have a right to live and to work there. You do not need a work permit as in this case your right to work is guaranteed by law, but it is advisable to apply for a UK residence card nonetheless. You may also need an EEA family permit to enter the UK.* strictly speaking treaty rights only apply if they work or can otherwise support both of you.† different, perhaps stricter, rules may apply in your spouse's home countrySee: Citizens' Rights Directive EUR-Lex - 32004L0038 - EN - EUR-Lex (particularly Art. 23)UK residence cardDirect family members of EEA nationals
