Can Not Eating Enough Make You Feel Sick

Can not eating enough make you feel sick?

For the past week I haven't been eating hardly at all. And it's not because I'm trying to lose weight or anything, it's just simply because I haven't been hungry. I also feel sick when I like smell food or eat it. So I have just been eating a lot less, and it isn't really good food either.
For example, yesterday all I had was half of a waffle and a piece of bread. And today, I've just taken a few nibbles of grilled cheese.
But since Friday, I've been feeling sick, but even then, I'm not hungry. So..I'm guessing my answers will just be to eat, but my main question is just can not eating a lot make you sick..?

Can not eating enough make you feel sick?

Yes. Your body requires set amount of calories for everyday's activities. Less consumption of food lowers down the minimum calorie count. Due to the same we feel laziness whole day. Less energy reduces the immunity power of body so we get sick easily and frequently. It also prolong the Recovery process.

Can not eating enough cause you to gag?

Try eating some really bland foods. Bacon upsets my stomach and so do spicy meats, ice cream, and other things. I'd suggest eating crackers (Supposed to help your stomach) and stuff easy on your stomach like water, plain mashed potatoes, rice, fruits like peaches and watermelon, and vegetables.

Avoid spicy stuff, pop, coffee, tea, and foods that are high in fiber.

Not eating can cause you to mentally be drained which can cause anxiety, so yes. If I don't eat for a while then eat, I get gaggy/nauseous and even shaky. Could be that you were hungry for so long then suddenly ate your stomach doesn't handle it well? Idk, that's what I thought :) Try eating slower maybe? And have a good mindset. Tell yourself it isn't gonna happen.

hope i helped!!!!

Do sick kids tend to not eat a lot?

It depends on what they have. Obviously, if they are vomiting or even nauseous it will be very hard to eat.Otherwise, it’s hard to know.If you child is sick and barely eating don’t be so worried as they can get by with not eating much for a few days. But do make sure they get enough fluids and try to get them to eat a little if they can.Things like chicken noodle soup or toast or saltine crackers are some good choices. If on the other hand your child feels like they can eat normally, you should let them. It’s possible they have something that isn’t effecting their ability to eat at all.

Can not eating enough food cause vomiting and diahrea? the doctor's don't know what could be wrong.?

I guess I need to be more specific - my 5-year old daughter gets the "flu" every 3 to 6 weeks. We've been to several doctors and the ER about it. The doctors always say she's fine and sends us home, making us feel like liars and paranoid parents. She consistantly has an upset stomach and is always uncomfortable throughout the day. She barely eats anything because food makes the pain worse. She doesn't have appendisitis or a gall bladder problem or anything else like that. She also has no other symptoms like fever or body aches and pains. And all her blood tests have come back normal. I'm wondering if her stomach acids are causing her to be sick, since there is nothing else in her stomach to absorb it. How can I help her to feel better?
