Yes, deleting your internet history just deletes it from your browser, it still resides in your HDD. There are several ways of accessing them, either by command, or using a 3rd party software. Even if you formatted your hard disc, it's still possible to access the files, though it's a little bit more hard to do so. Your best bet is to use a complete delete tool, like CCleaner, to delete those files. A bit of an overkill, if you're not a trying to hide porn, or terrorist communication. p/s : If you're using Chrome, there's an option of using the incognito window, which google claims does not keep track of any of your browsing history. Haven't tested it yet though, so not sure if it's 100% foolproof.

They dont just see, they even record what your see, hear, type everything, but they focus on one individual only if you are involve in some activity- other wise they have no issues with you.
