Can Rats Eat Drink Light Rasperry Vinegrette Dressing

I want to lose weight but I love eating. What should I do?

1- Eat More Oily FoodI’ve been to several restaurants with friends and acquaintances who are rather overweight. One common thread I’ve observed is that most of these people who are trying to live healthy are conscious of ordering something that is less oily.First hard truth: Eating less oily food has nothing to do with your weight loss..2- Never Run On TreadmillWhen I go to gym, I see that 80% of people running on treadmills are fat. They are thinking that if they do it for 30 minutes everyday, some day in the distant future they will be slim.Second hard truth is: No person in the history of this world has gotten slim by running on a treadmill..3- Eat 4–5 Times A DayFat people think that eating less, 1-2 times a day, will make them slim. It’s true that if you starve yourself you will lose weight. What you probably don’t know is that you primarily lose weight by reducing your muscles, not your stored fat.I eat between 2500 - 3000 calories a day on average. I stay between 10-12% body fat at about 75 kg.When you starve yourself and reduce weight, you are basically losing strength and stamina. You are getting weaker. Before you realise you will develop lower back pain and what not. Just don’t do it.Third hard truth is: To reduce stored fat, you eat A LOT – like 4-5 times a day. And you never miss breakfast..So How Do You Lose Weight By Eating A Lot?You change the composition of your food from being carb-rich to high in proteins and fats. You will never have to worry about eating a lot or counting your calories.

I ran out of rat food and can't get more until Friday. What can I feed my rats?

Hey lynx, first let me say I read a lot of rodent questions and I really respect your answers.

Rolled oats, along with the apples are both very good. Carrots are great as well. However, how much vinegar did you put in? The acid is NOT good for the rats stomach, however if you did not put a lot in that is fine.

If you have dogs, dog food is perfect substitute (temporarily) if not, raid your pantry.
Here is just a list of common household food.
Canned beans - good.
Bread- good.
Vegetables, all but lettuce and avocados.
Nuts - in moderation are fine, nuts in shells are even better because it gives them something to do. Remember small animals need much higher fat content than we do.
Eggs- cooked.
Crackers - saltines are fine, low sodium is the best.
Raisins - perfectly okay.
Cooked or uncooked pasta- tasty.
These are all things that you can give to your rat.
If there is an item that you are unsure that you can give post a question and I will answer as best I can.
Hope I helped

P.S.
I am glad you want healthy rats but two days of not perfect food will not impact them , whatsoever. Your position is much better than the "oh whatever they have is fine" and I am glad you love your rats so much.

Hope I helped
