Can Somebody Help Me Thank You

Can somebody help me translate these? I believe these are singaporean terms.. thank you!!?

I'm from Malaysia so certain terms are quite similiar, I'll try, here goes:-
1. -Not too sure-
2. liao - Something added behind a sentence, meaning 'already'. E.g. I have eaten liao (I have already eaten), it's a slang
3. leh - Goes behind a question as an extention. E.g I can't sleep, u leh? (I can't sleep, you?)
4. Sad = sad
5. ya lor...so qiao = Yeah it is...(sorry don't know what's qiao)
6. lah = A Singaporean/Malaysian slang used at the end of the sentence. E.g You talking nonsense lah (You are talking nonsense)
7. Siao liaoz = Siao liao. The "z" is sometimes added behind 'liao' teenagers. Makes it look hipper I suppose. Anyway Siao liao means (Crazy already)
8. Mah = same as "lah" E.g (I thought we're going shopping mah)
9. Not too sure as this is in Mandarin, but I think it means "If boys are not naughty, girls would not fall in love"
10. Don't know
11. chio = beautiful/sport!
12. Abuden = same as the english term "duh"
Hope that helps

1. I put gasoline in my car. Some gasoline is extracted from "oil shale" which is a kind of fossil marine sediment.
2. I write with chalk. Chalk is made from fossil marine organisms.
3. I swim in a pool that has a diatomaceous earth filter. Diatomaceous earth is an old marine sediment enriched in diatom shells.
4. I brush my teeth using toothpaste. The toothpaste contains a small amount of diatom shells.
5. I go to the beach every day and hang out on the sand. Gotta love Southern California.

How do you thank someone who helped you out and has everything and rich?

"A simple thank-you will suffice."Somewhere, the idea has taken root in these days, that when someone does you a kindness or gives you a gift, that you have to pay them back with a gift in return. It's  an idea rooted in a kind of defensive false pride; as though the recipient of the kindness must put a price on it, and then pay that price, so that the debt is balanced out and the relationship is reset to neutral. In the process it cheapens the kindness, and grossly undervalues simple gratitude.Write an honest, sincere note that says "Thank-you. I value your help and will always remember what I owe to you." Speak your thanks out loud in front of other people: "This is something I learned from Mr So-and-so, who was a generous mentor to me".No matter how rich someone is, he can always accept and appreciate gratitude.

When you help someone and they don't thank you. How to proceed?

A thanks is a form of payment.  If you do something nice for someone without requiring payment, then you can be satisfied with yourself, doing what you want to do, regardless of what compensation you receive.  Yes, it is polite to thank someone for a kindness performed, but that should not stop you from doing kindnesses in the future.  Every person is different.  For one person who did not reward you, there might be another who will reward you handsomely.  I have found it satisfying to offer help without expectation of payment or reward.  It's very freeing.   It also allows me to do things on my whim, for my pleasure.  If it's not your pleasure to help in future, then that's ok too.I recently read that saying "thank you" might be culturally frowned upon.  For example, for superstitious people who believe in the "Fey" (fairies), saying "thank you" will make you obligated to the person you are thanking.  If they are Fey, disguised as mortals, then you have placed yourself in their power.  Something I consider now, instead of saying thanks, it does not "obligate" me if I smile in acknowledgement or say "I appreciate that."

Algebra! Can someone please help me with this problem , thank you?

Assuming it is required to calculate the volume and/or surface area of the tank, we may regard the two hemispheres as comprising one sphere of radius r, so:

Volume of Tank = Volume of sphere of radius r + Volume of right circular cylinder of radius r and length L=5r =

(4/3)(pi)r^3 + (pi)(r^2)L = (4/3)(pi)r^3 + 5(pi)r^3 = (4/3 + 5)(pi)r^3 =

(19/3)(pi)r^3

Surface Area of Tank = Surface Area of sphere of radius r + Surface Area along axis of right circular cylinder of radius r and length L=5r, (i.e. we don t include the flat circular "ends" of the cylinder, since this is where they join the hemispheres) =

4(pi)r^2 + 2(pi)(r)L = 4(pi)r^2 + 10(pi)r^2 = (4 + 10)(pi)r^2 = 14(pi)r^2

Can I say “thank you to you, too” to someone?

Only in the following situation: you and another person have done something considerate for each other and the other person has just thanked you a split second before you were able to.Any other situations are unacceptable to say “thank you to you too

Can somebody help me prove this identity: sin^2 x/2=cscx-cotx/2cscx.please show work. thank you?

Identity: sin(2x) = 2sin(x)cos(x) <--- double angle formula

sin(x) = 2sin(x/2)cos(x/2)
sin^2(x/2) = sin(x)sin(x/2)/[2cos(x/2)]
sin^2(x/2) = sin(x)tan(x/2)/2

Identity: tan(x/2) = csc(x) - cot(x) <-- Half angle formula

sin^2(x/2) = sin(x)[csc(x) - cot(x)]/2

Identity: sin(x) = 1/csc(x)

sin^2(x/2) = [csc(x) - cot(x)]/[2csc(x)]

Can someone help me write a thank you note in Korean?

A Korean lady hand painted a shirt for my son. I want to write her a thank you note in Korean. Just something like: Dear Hyun, thank you for the beautiful shirt you made for Timothy. You have such a gift! Thank you for your time you spent on it! I am so thankful to have you as my friend. Love, Hyun (she gave me a Korean name :)
If anyone can help I'd appreciate the time. The free online translations aren't helpful.
