Hello !first of all want to say that in MAKAUT (Popularly known as WBUT ) there are only three terms used only.1)SGPA = Semester Grade Point Average2)YGPA = Yearly Grade Point Average& The last one is 3)DGPA = Degree Grade Point Averageyou mentiioned in your question CGPA i think that means you asked about DGPA because CGPA which means “Cummulative Grade Point Average”.now let me tell you that in WBUT there is no single formula to get CGPA or DGPA using SGPA, if you want DGPA then you have to calculate it by using YGPA.But in a tricky method you can calculate the YGPA using (YGPA = (SGPA odd + SGPA even)/2 ) this method instead of (Credit Index odd sem + Credit Index even sem)/ (Credits in odd sem + Credits in even sem) .So if you put this formula for the calculation of CGPA or DGPA[{(SGPA 1+SGPA 2)/2} + {(SGPA 3+SGPA 4)/2} + 1.5*{(SGPA 5+SGPA 6)/2} + 1.5*{(SGPA 7+SGPA 8)/2}] / 5 = Your DGPA/CGPA

A = 4.0 x credit hours B = 3.0 x credit hours etc. Some schools give fractional points per credit hours for +/- grades. A B+ at such a place = 3.25x credit hours, and a B- = 2.74 x credit hours. Then you add up all the points and divide by the number of credit hours. Using the traditional calculation, you have 27 grade points divided by 12 credit hours = GPA 2.25

I am graduating this fall and I'm trying to find out what my total GPA is. I have my transcript but it doesn't tell me my total GPA.
