Can someone double check this for me?

The only answers that I can see that concern me are the two on the top right and the middle one on the left.

For the question that begins with -16, you need to go back and look at what your negative applies to. Check your 'y' variables, specifically. The negative does not apply to the y^3.

For the second question, beginning with x^7, I'm not quite sure what you did with your 'y' variables, again, so you'll want to take a look at that.

For the question beginning with -45 (the green question), you have to take another look at what you're doing with both your negative signs and, again, your 'y' variables. If there is one 'y' on top and one 'y' on the bottom...

Otherwise, it looks good to me. Hope that helped! :)

Can someone double check my work? (algebra)?

the problem is: 5x -21 = 2x + 35

and this is how i solved it:
i made the 2x into a negative and added it to 5x and 2x.
5x -21 = 2x + 35
-2x -2x

so it leaves me with this:
3x -21 = + 35

Now that i have that i make the -21 into a positive and add it with +35 and -21.
and it leaves me with:
3x = 56

and with that i divide the 56 with 3 and i got: x =18.6

Did i do this right? i don't think i did...please someone correct me. 10 points best answer. thanks in advanced.

Want to pay someone to double check my taxes?

The service I know about, since I work for H&R Block, is the
Block Second Look program which costs $29 and includes
the Block guarantee which basically includes audit assistance
and Block pays penalty and interest if the taxing authorities
disagree with the tax return as prepared. The $29 fee is the
only thing you pay if your taxes are correct. If they are not
correct, then your tax pro will advise you as to what is wrong,
and how much it would cost to amend the return. Then you
can make your choice. It's a pretty low risk proposition and it
might help you have more confidence in your filing. Just a
suggestion. There are of course Block offices all over the
country, and plenty in Maine I'm sure.

Can someone please help me double check these 2 Managerial Accounting Questions?

Problem: Last year, a company's total overhead costs were expected to be $75,000 based upon an estimated 7,500 direct labor hours. Actual expenses totaled $78,750 for 7,250 actual hours. Overhead is applied to products based upon direct labor hours.

Question 1: How much overhead should be applied to a job that was completed in three direct labor hours (round answer to the nearest cent).

a) $30.00
b) $31.03
c) $31.50

My guess is A... Am I right?

Question 2: What is the amount of over -or underapplied overhead at the end of the year? (round answer to nearest dollar)

a) $6,250 overappplied
b) $6,250 underapplied
c) $6,465 overapplied

I am guessing it's B... Am I right?

Can someone double check a percent yield answer for me, please?

i have this chem problem and got an answer, but want to know if i am right.

in an experiment, 0.055g Al and 3.0mL of 1.20M HCl were reacted together and 53.8mL of hydrogen gas were collected over water at 22degrees C and 751 torr. what is the percent yield of this reaction?

i balanced the equation: 2Al + 6HCl --> 2AlCl3 + 3H2
i got a theoretical yield of 0.0031 mol
and an actual yield of 0.147 mol
with a percent yield of 47.1%

Can someone double check my answer for this math word problem please?

nope not correct.

lets look at what the question is saying, it says that a diver starts 95m below the surface of the water then rises up 4m every minute for a period of 8 minutes. this suggests our answer should have our diver closer to the surface than 95m by the end.

the first thing you should ask in tackling this problem is how far does the diver rise in the 8 minutes. well in 1 minute he rises 4m, in 2mins he rises 8m (2*4) and so in 8mins he rises 32m (8*4).

next ask where he winds up he started at 95m down and goes up 32m so he ends up at 63m down (95-32). this is consistent with what we would intuitively expect (he winds up closer to the surface than the start) so we would be happy with this as an answer

All you have to do is endorse it. Once that is done, it can be deposited into your account or cashed. However, many places WON’T cash your check unless they have your signature on file. You would be better off having it deposited into an ATM machine, then withdraw the cash.
