I got an RMA from newegg for a replacement. On the record, there's a price adjustment. What's that for?
I RMA'd a motherboard and CPU which I bought for a total of $480. The record shows that they are being replaced and the "refund" is for the same price, but there's a price adjustment for around $80 (3.1|01|RMAPriceAdj) and i don't know what that's for. The replacement "purchase" shows $480 without the adjustment. In other words, even though the refund side says 480, the record itself shows $480 - $(~80) and the purchase side says $480 without any changes.
False Advertising on NewEgg.com? What can I do?
I recently bought a laptop for 550 dollars on Neweggs, that was promised to have a NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M graphics card inside. I ordered it and is promised to come in a few days, but I'm worried. I bookmarked the page and check on it today and the specs have been changed to a Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics card. If this is what is inside my machine it won't be able to take the kind of gaming I intended it to handle. There was also a review of someone complaining that they didn't get their NVidia in their laptop either. Is there a way I can make the seller pay for the graphics card? Help would be MUCH appreciated, this is hard earned paper route money I'm losing here, not just money I got from my parents for my birthday.
