Can Someone Give An Honest Opinion On My Tattoo

Arabic tattoo? Honest opinions?

In Mexico, my name is Mahdi and is on my official birth certificate. However, I am American and have not gone by that name since I was a toddler and my name in the U.S. is not Arabic.

I am also Catholic but I would say I am not truly set on one religion but I do appreciate all religions and enjoy the different cultures. I am thinking of getting my name, Mahdi, tattooed in Arabic.

Now on to my question: How would Muslims, or people in general, take this? Is it offensive? I've talked to Muslim friends and they said they would not be offended because it is my name. However, I would like more opinions and further insight about getting this tattoo and Mahdi in general.

Please no rude comments. Thank you!

Do you have any tattoos you regret, and if you could give someone some advice before getting a tattoo what would it be?

Not more so regret but just wish I went to a better artist. I fixed up tattoos I did not like.My advice is toLook at work from the artist. Some artist are better at specific work. Like someone who does flowers better than others. Or someone who is able to tattoo portraits better than the other.make sure you’re 1000% positive that’s the tattoo you want.Ask someone close, who will not sugarcoat anything for their honest opinion if the tattoo is dumb or not.Another is to take your time with choosing, do not rush into it, tattoo artist will always be around so really take your time into choosing what you love.

Your honest opinions about tattooing....teens or adults?

I'm 16 & a Junior in high school. Just by this little piece of information I'm going to take a guess and say that this is going to be a controversial topic. I don't need to be lectured. I've been open to several people in my family about my decision and I told them how important this tattoo is to me. I wanted one when I was younger but I thought it was just a phase and I will get over it. My Grandpa got one when he was 14 in a friends basement- His name on his arm- and he told me he regretted ever since. I understand that. But he just got it because his friend's got one so ofcourse he would regret it-that was a given. I know this will be on me permanently and that's what makes it special to me. If someone in the future doesn't want to hire me because of something that means a great deal to me in my life then I wouldn't want to work with them myself. I am my own person and I will never apologize for the choices I've made or the person I've become. I've thought long and hard about this tattoo for years and as the days go by I want it more and more. Since I'm underage it would be hard for me to get one in a tattoo shop. So I was thinking of getting one by this tattoo artist who works out of her own home. She use to work in this tattoo shop somewhere close by my neighborhood but quit because she wanted her freedom to do what she wanted. I've seen her artwork and it's good. My question for you is how do you feel about tattoo's from a home? Would you ever judge someone because of their tattoo (if it's not offensive that is)? From my experience, I've came to known people with an amazing-and sometimes sad-story behind their tattoo. Just because someone you know regrets their tattoo doesn't mean you're going to regret yours. I don't live my life off the decisions of other people- and I KNOW this is something I care dearly for-trust me. And I am considering waiting until I'm 18. My Grandpa's opinion does matter to me because I love him & care about his advice. But I just want to get your personal views about tattoo-good or bad. Do you feel as if teens are too naive to make such a huge decision as to 'mark' their body permanently? What about adults?

What is your uncensored opinion about someone who has a face tattoo?

Facial tattoos are quite common. Some are known as ‘permanent make-up’, and have existed in Western society for over a century. Since in Western society there is no opposition to make up and cosmetics, why would it be socially objectionable if this make-up is permanent?More ‘extreme’ forms of facial tattoos, recognizable as such, are worn by celebrities such as Kat von D. Whether or not this enhances her feminine beauty is a matter of taste – just as is blue eye shadow on dark skinned faces.Whether or not a facial tattoo is socially objectionable also depends on the culture in which the person lives: In Polynesian cultures, being tattooed is not exceptional, and amongst the Maori’s it is even a symbol of status to have elaborate facial tattoos.Tattoos were introduced into Western culture by travelers who were positively impressed by Polynesian culture, including the culture of tattoos. Since world wide travelling is common place nowadays, so is worldwide influencing of cultures. Thus, new ideas about tattooing evolve, of which much can be found on the Internet.Yet, tattooing the face with colors which do not combine with the person’s skin color or with (large) images which do not combine with the facial anatomy will be considered by many as socially objectionable, and in my opinion is therefore unwise.

Can i sued a tattoo shop for giving me a scar?

Well as the tattoo was healing i notice a scar on my arm like he when into deep or burn me with the gun. The crazy thing is that i when back to the tattoo shop to show what was happening, right a way they notice the scar. So the owner said for the bad job i would get a free tattoo, i get the free tattoo come to check it out a few days later they spell the wrong word instead of "Praying" i got "parying" so now i have a scar and the wrong word!!!

What do you think of my tattoo?

You can never go wrong with your own design and something that means something to you...that's what they're all about. Its nice. If you do any more work on it, lemme know cuz I'll wanna see it.

What do you think of my tattoo's? :)?

Unfortunately I don't have a Photobucket account so can't show you pics :(
But on my left foot I've got 'Mommy's girl' written in French, with a pink and blue fish design around it. The reason being I'm very close to my mom. She loves French culture, the people/food everything lol which is why it's in French. The fish is because she's a typical pisces! And baby blue and baby pink are her fave colours. It's also quite a dainty tattoo, because she's a petite woman.
On my wrist I have a compass tattoo, because at this time in my life, I need direction and have no idea where I'm heading
What do you think of my tattoos and meanings :) thanks!
