Can Someone Give Me Some Feed Back On My Cover

What is your honest feedback on my cover of this song?

A - Your look A - Your voice (and with minimal recording technology!)A - Interpretation (liked yours better than any other rendition I could find)B - Technical execution (tempo too fast in numerous places, your nerves were showing)B - Performance (whereas others commented on the closed eyes, I liked them; just work on being less self conscious - be one with the song and your audience will be there with you)

Any useful, constructive feedback on my cover of this wonderful song?

Thanks for the A2A. First off, kudos to you for putting this together and putting it out there. I think this is a great start. Here are my thoughts: I agree with User-13189252085764635660 that the guitar sounds thin. I'm not sure if you're recording off a built-in piezo pickup or just off your computer mic. But, I'd recommend using that nice mic you're using on your vocals also on the guitar. As for the part itself, I think you play it nicely. I agree with User about what sounds to me like "right, right" on the chorus (at 00:00:48, 00:01:17 and elsewhere). That's the most immediate thing to fix, as it sounds like a mistake, and you can easily fix that in the mix. The bridge part (starting at 00:01:30) sounds odd because, in the original, The Beatles use that section to try out all manner of psychedelic weirdness in the mix. Since your arrangement is just guitar, vocals, and backing vocals, it sounds like you're repeating the same line over and over without variation. So, I'd recommend either cutting that section down to, maybe, two repeats, or adding some additional instrumentation or vocal treatments to make each pass through a little different (and make the lot of them a "build"). The original has a falsetto part during some of those "Sun, sun sun" parts. You could easily add that. Because the guitar is thin, the vocals sit too high in the mix. They also have too much reverb on them. I would also recommend recording the background vocals (like the "do do do doo" parts) separately and trying out some effects on them to differentiate them from the lead vocal (as the Beatles do in the original). I think my most global advice is to keep dynamics in mind. Your guitar is at one volume all the way through the track. And that's probably okay. But you might consider doubling it during the chorus and bridge (you could have a lot of fun layering guitars during the bridge). Maybe add a bass line to the mix. That would give you more to work with in terms of dynamics. Again, I'm giving all of this in the spirit of constructive criticism, not because what you have here is bad. What you have here is quite good. And I suspect it'll get even better.

Where can I get feedback for my book cover design?

Getting feedback is easy. Getting meaningful feedback is tough. Asking folks to choose the cover they "like" elicits subjective preferences and many suggestions for change. I've seen many a cover destroyed when the author allows "too many cooks" to alter the design. Asking folks which cover they would "buy" returns more objective answers. Do seek feedback from those with publishing industry experience as well as the general public. Industry pros are more likely to recognize poorly crafted typography or other elements that flag a cover as self-published. The goal is to produce a cover that is as well designed as the best sellers Amazon will display alongside your title. Buyers will be willing to take a chance on an unknown author if this is the case. If you go to market with a poorly crafted cover, buyers may judge your book a risk and buy the better known author instead.

Where can I get feedback for a product developed by me?

I wish this was more kind of a comment to the question rather then an answer, I don’t know what kind of feedback are you looking for, since I might not have such technical answer about your extension.but one thing I can say for sure, It’s awesome!following is the reason why:1. There is least bullshit, in fact I should say no bullshit.2. your extension is very precise to what is is suppose to do, it gives you straight answer for your search query about songs.3. It give option to play as well as download, so before downloading the song, I can make sure that its the right song that I want to download.4. It’s so good of you that you didn’t make this extension with greedy thought of monetizing it with adsense.5. you music box’s seach engines seems to me like a google search engine. it corrects the spelling in case if you are typing it wrong and suggesting you the right spellings. This is what I have got to know by far after exploring your extension as much as I can.but then, I have doubt, Its not a big issue though but just thought for it as why do you have radio buttons for us to select which language, why not rather identify the song’s language.(In short, what I am trying to say is can’t it be like without me selecting the language and give me download. Its just a suggestion though it doesn’t hamper the user experience.)suggestions in case if you welcome it:1. how about bit rate thingy? I mean the way you have provided play and download option for any song, there could have been a tab to select bit rate of that particular song for downloading.2. (Not much require but still just a suggestion though) how wonderful it will be if your extension see a song without its cover, so it finds the cover and also apply the cover to the songs that I am about to download.I have lots of suggestions though, that I wish it had but I am totally satisfied with the extension for what it says is what it does.sorry if you feel that my answer is kind useless since no technical shit is involved as feedback or kind of answer you might be expecting for.conclusion: I am surely using it, it saves me my bandwidth, time, my patience to resist pop up to find a song, websites, hell lot of ads and as where to download etc. its like one stop solution for songs(obviously without paying it since, otherwise we do have saavn, wynk and gaana).

Applying For Apple Position Creative , Need Cover Letter Help!?

This reads very much like you are speaking to the a friend instead of a hiring manager. That may work well with Apple and their environment, I'm not sure. I've made some adjustments below you can use or ignore (your choice), but I suggest at least focusing the cover letter on what you offer the company (why they should hire you instead of the other applicants, try to remove some of the "I" statements) and not selling yourself short. Remeber, this is your sales pitch to get the interview.

Dear Mr./Ms.___ (or "hiring manager" if you can't find out their name)

My experience explaining technology on a day to day basis to friends, family, and peers makes me a great candidate for the Creative (include the entire position name if there is more) posting on the Apple Career site. I am a creative person who, listens patiently to customers needs and concerns and assists them in resolving problems and making sound purchases.

I am a serious Apple enthusiast from iPhones to iMac and have visited the Apple store on many occasions. (maybe add some detail as to your experience in the store, like how you think you can do what the "specialists" do or how you think you can improve customer service. Or include a story about helping someone use an apple product or why you love apple products. Add something personal that makes them remember you: "oh, you were the one who helped her aunt set up __ app").

My expertise involves Mac, but I also have experience in Windows Vista, XP,HP-UX and am familiar with several applications and tools. I have previously helped new Mac customers navigate the basics, understand familiar software, find similarities to PC's and shown an easier solution in a Mac.

In my experience as a cashier and various temp agency positions, I've gained valuable customer service skills. As a customer, I want to be treated with respect no matter my question, so I carry that into my own dealings with customers. Even the most difficult customer needs patience and understanding.

I believe my character, communication and technical skills and my outgoing, bubbly personality make me a perfect fit for the Apply store. I also believe working for Apple can challenge my creativity because Apple itself inspires me!

I look forward to the opportunity to speak with you about the Creative position. Please contact me at the email address below.

Sincerely,
(My Name)
