Can Someone Help Me On This Car Question

Can someone help me with a car audio installation question?

The part you need can be either metal or plastic. What you need to get is an instillation or radio kit. They are made specifically for your year make and model of car. Most Stereo shops, Pep Boys or Best Buy type places carry them. eBay also has great deals on them if you wanna wait a few days. You can also get a wiring harness adapter or "Plug" from the same places, so you wont have to cut any wires when you change from the factory radio to the new CD player

a) What potential difference must be applied to the spark plug to initiate a spark?
b) If the separation between electrodes is increased, does the required potential difference increase, decrease, or stay the same? Explain.
c) Fin the potential difference for a separation of 0.050 in.

I agree. Break it down into smaller sections. Way too many to answer in one setting. Good luck!!

Can someone answer my questions about electric cars for my school work?

Well Dafydd, that’s not what Quora is for! If you are doing school work, you must learn to conduct your own research. And, thanks to modern technology and communications, these days you have it easy. When I was in school I relied on a library for research, locating books and periodicals with relevant sources. And I spent many hours at times perusing such books to find answers.Start with your favorite search engine, enter some keywords related to your question, go from there. But I’ll make you a deal—if you come up with a good question about electric cars, one that you can’t easily find an answer for in your research online, feel free to pose that question here. That is a good use for the Quora platform.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with my car ac?

It's won't be expensive - have your cooling fan looked at and correct the problem. This cools both your A/C system and your engine, it's very important to do it soon. Driving fast forces air through the condenser and radiator but you need the fan to force air through while sitting still. It's unfortunate someone told you the compressor was bad.

From your description the problem is obvious. Your A/C is not leaking. You can easily test it - does the big fan between the radiator and engine come on? I already know it doesn't. Good Luck!

Update - hopefully you just had some coolant overflow from the excessive heating, and you can replace it (be sure to add the right kind, your mechanic will know). Worse would be a damaged thermostat, worst is a cooked water pump. The worse it gets the more expensive, but at least you are on the road to recovery. All the best Jazz.

Do you mean instead that the AC goes completely hot? Heat exchange from the radiator into the condensor could prevent the phase change that makes the A/C cool. The fan would prevent this. Remember, the more you operate the car without a cooling fan, the more engine damage is occuring! If you must drive the car, turn the heat on HI and roll down the windows. It won't be comfortable right now but the heater core and in-dash blower motor can be your back-up cooling system in an emergency.

Can someone help me with this Physics question please?

You've got a flat tire. To lift your car, you make a homemade lever (see the figure (Figure 1) ). A very light 1.6-m-long handle part is pushed down on the right side of the fulcrum and a 0.050-m-long part on the left side supports the back of the car.

How hard must you push down on the handle so that the lever exerts an 6300-
N force to lift the back of the car?
Express your answer to two significant figures and include the appropriate units.

Car Questions for School?

I have no clue what most of these questions mean or what their answers are... Can someone help me out here?
1. How does the four-stroke cycle in a gasoline engine differ from the four-stroke cycle in a diesel engine?
2. In a car with fuel injection, which stroke does fuel enter the cylinders?
3. How does the intake stroke of a car with a carburetor differ from the intake stroke of a car with fuel injection?

Probability Question need help?

The only way to calculate the sum of independent events is to MULTIPLY the chances of each event NOT happening. So the answer is:

P(at least 1 crash) = 1 - P(0 crashes) = 1 - (1 - 0.0480)^4

Can I sue someone for selling me a bad car when they knew the car had problems, but told me it didn't?

Depends on where you live and the terms of the sale. Someone suggested lemon laws. Lemon laws only apply to brand new cars. There are laws involving selling cars that are dangerous, which may or may not apply to individuals (as opposed to businesses.) This would depend on the laws themselves. This is not an area in which I practice, so I am not certain whether the laws about selling dangerous cars ever apply to individuals. And of course, I don't know whether the car was dangerous. Perhaps go to a mechanic and find out what it would cost to fix the problem. Then, if it isn't a lot, call the person, tell him, POLITELY, that you don't believe it was appropriate to use tape to hide the flaws of the car, and ask him to refund the difference between the repairs and what you paid. If it is a lot, say the same thing, but ask for your money back. See what happens. If he says no, I suggest you do a little bit of legal research and see if there is anything you can do. The fact the person actively hid the flaws might provide you with some help, but it might not. Laws vary. Consider checking with a lawyer, you can expect to pay a consultation fee, but it shouldn't be a lot. Then, based on what you learn, you can decide whether to sue in small claims court. You might want to see a lawyer before you call the person, then you will be in a position to tell him what you discovered upon speaking with a lawyer. That might help scare him. Or maybe a letter from the lawyer. Good luck.

How can one indirectly ask a question?

There's plenty of passive aggressive ways of getting the information you're in need of. There's times when asking a person a question directly might reveal your true motives that you may not be ready to share. Or perhaps asking individuals questions concerning personal matters might embarrass one or both parties. For example, one of my loyal followers, one I've grown especially fond of incidentally! He wasn't sure if “Shelby” was a boy or a girl. Since it can be either. Instead of simply asking me directly-which personally I've also done the same thing on Quora when it comes to the names of some I've communicated regularly with. Didn't wanna look stupid… He did a little review of all of my fabulous answers first. He was surprised to learn I was in fact female.I usually ask other questions directly in order to get the information I need by keeping my motives to myself. Most people willing talk easily about themselves. They inadvertently disclose the information I am seeking. For example;“How many miles per gallon does your car get (Bob*)?Perhaps I'm trying to figure out if bobs car is the clunker or the cool new sports car in the lot at work. Maybe I'm interested in dating Bob for materialist superficial reasons. If he's the clunker, no sex for bob(ahhh…poor Bob). If he's the sports car owner, I'd start stripping down in his cubicle(Hooray forBob)!!!.See? Problem solved.Hypothetical example.
