I got an email sent from someone else with my own gmail address. Does this mean that my account has been hacked?
As João Miguel points out, forging a FROM address is trivial. However, it's easier than even using a PHP script. Most email clients let you set the FROM address on your account and don't require any validation that it's actually your email address (or even a valid address at all). I can go into Apple Mail, Thinderbird, Microsoft Outlook or just about any other client and set my FROM address to anything from sjobs@apple.com to president@whitehouse.gov and there's very little that will stop me from sending out emails with any of those addresses in the From line. That said, email messages are still eminently traceable to their real source just by looking at the headers; most email clients will let you do this through a "Show Headers" or "Show Original Message" option. I believe in Gmail it's the latter and can be found on the drop down menu that appears in the top right corner when reading a message. These headers can be a bit complicated to decipher, but if you look at the various "Received by" entries you'll see the path the message took and often whether it was senwas from an authenticated account, and whether it ultimately traces back to Gmail or some other random server. All of that having been said, I echo João Miguel's advice: change your password anyway, just in case. It's a relatively painless thing to do, and always better to be safe than sorry. I'd also suggest going to accounts.google.com and reviewing any other third-party services that may have been granted access to your account, and removing any you know you don't need any more. Enabling two-step verification is definitely always a good idea as well.

I currently have no money, otherwise I would get one commissioned. I also am new to the furry community and don't have a reference sheet, but I do have something in mind. And that is where problem three comes in: I can't draw to save my life. If anyone out there could do this for me, that would be a huge help. Thank you!

Well, I can try. It won't look anything like Picasso's or Da Vinci's art, but hey, it's something. Add more details. Is it a wolf, fox, dragon, or a feline? (I just see those alot, everyone has that kind of fursona. It's getting old. I wanna see more monkeys, kangaroos, and/or animals that aren't wolves or dragons.) Does it wear clothes? Is it yiffie? (If it is, then I won't do it...) You should be able to send me a message through Y! Answers. And it might be awhile before you actually get it (like a month or something, cuz I got other stuff to handle in my life)

Anybody out there with free furry art commissions?
