Can Someone Help Me With Student Finance Stuff Uk

Should husbands help their wives pay off their student debt?

Is this a trick question?Yes! Of course you should help!Unless you’re in some weird marriage of convenience, or you don’t like each other and are planning on getting a divorce, you’re going to be together for a long time.Your finances are now combined, whether you technically merge assets or not.As a single financial unit, any debt owed by either of you is a drag on your purchasing, saving, and investing power. Her student loans are now your student loans.I got engaged a few months ago. The wedding is in April of next year. Part of the planning we did, and something you should do, was to sit down and figure out finances. We’ve already done pretty well with debt, but my fiance does have a balance remaining on a credit card. So now we’re tackling how to pay that off. Both of us.I plan on paying significant amounts out of MY income towards HER debt. Why?Entirely selfish reasons. When that debt is gone, WE will have more money available each month to put towards other financial goals, or just to do fun stuff with.I’ve really been slacking when it comes to traveling the world, so that is going to have to be a priority.Let me ask you this…Why wouldn’t you help pay off her loans? Is it out of some silly form of ‘fairness’?Why should I spend MY money on problems SHE created? If that’s the case, you need to get over those issues right now or your relationship isn’t going to last.Same team, remember? My advice, and what I’m going to do myself, is to come up with a plan to pay off this and any other debt, stick to it, and get yourselves to a position where you can use your money for other, more interesting (and profitable) things. And it will be a lot easier if you make more money.I’ve been working on several projects to bring in more money each month, from selling old stuff on eBay and Facebook to starting full on businesses. I’m just getting started, and I’ve got a long way to go still, but even in this short time, the results have been surprising.I’m documenting the whole process here.

Is 1,400 pounds sterling a month enough for students studying at Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh and Nottingham?

Should be plenty for Edinburgh as a student. Assuming you are on your own and prepared to stay in student residence and not alone.Renting accomodation will be your largest expense in Edinburgh. Take a look at this website for an idea of rental prices. You want to search in the “Bruntsfield”, “Marchmont”, “Pleasance”, “St Leonards” or “Tollcross” areas for easy walking distance to the University. Also worth a look is “Leith” and “The Shore”, for cheaper but bus distance.I do miss getting my daily lunch time curry at the Mosque next to the Edinburgh Uni Informatics centre. Good cheap wholesome student food. :)

Can a 17 year old get credit or a student loan?

Okay, everyone here is WRONG!!
Yes, you can get a federal student loan (without a cosigner) as long as you meet regular admission standards. Apply at http://fafsa.ed.gov. No, you won't need a cosigner for a federal student loan.

Be aware that the max you will be able to borrow is about 3,500 a year as a freshman. This will likely pay for your tuition and books, but not enough to pay for 3000+ in extra stuff. I'm sure the school has equipment, recording rooms, and computer lab you can use.

Don't take out student loans your first two years unless you absolutely have to. Most folks drop out those two years and have nothing to show for it but student loans and payments they cant afford.

Good luck.

Can someone with knowledge of law and education please help me?

Please look at recent ofsted reports for 'Markazul Uloom Blackburn'. This school is unhygenic, dangerous and fails so badly.
