Can Someone Help Me With This Money Problem

Can someone help me wth this money story problem?

1st equation: d = q - 3
2nd equation: 10d + 25q = 495

using substitution of (q - 3) for d in second equation:

10(q - 3) + 25q = 495
10q - 30 + 25q = 495
35q = 525
q = 15

15 quarters, 12 dimes

that's it! ;)

Can someone help me solve this problem?

i is the periodic interest rate.
Assuming that there is one period (1 year) then you have
P4*1.04 + P7*1.07 = 14840 and P4+P7=14000
its easy to solve for P4 and P7 (P4 is the principle put into the CD at 4%, P7 is put in the bond)
You should get P4/P7=1/2

The stateement that the investments "earn" 4% and 7% is ambiguous it could mean several things.
You're not really given enough information to solve the question. You actually need to know what the periodic interest rate is and what the period is for each investment. Thats four variables. Since you're given the total, you only need three variables and can solve for the 4th.
The amount you have after compounding is P*(1+i) where P is the amount you started the period with and

Can someone help me with this physics problem?

Equation for work: W = F * D (force times distance)
Rearrange this to get D = W / F

F (in x-direction) = F * cos of the angle

F = (200 N) * cos (30)
F = 173.205 N

W = 1440 J

so... W / F = 1440 J / 173.205 N = 8.31384 meters

Where can I find someone to help me with money?

If you’re looking for help with managing money? There are lots of books and seminars and gurus out there. If you need something free, I’d try Reddit's r/personalfinance. Lots of people over there who offer advice on savings, credit, renting, large purchases like houses and cars, budgets, retirements, you name it. If you’ve got problems, they can either help get you pointed in the right direction, or get you to resources that can help.If you need help making money? Reddit has a section for that too, or you could talk to a broker about investments. Or get a job, and even if it’s miserable, slog it out until you can find a better job, and just save a little, every paycheck. Even if it’s just $10, it’ll help.

Should I help my friend with a money problem?

I’m going to say no because I don’t believe your friend’s story. She may be repeating what her parents have told her, but it doesn’t make sense that her parents are broke because their house was robbed and that the robbers stole a couple of tablets that didn’t even belong to her parents and their house key. The costly work tablets were likely insured by the company her dad worked for. Any money they had in their bank accounts would not have been taken in a burglary. Didn’t they have home owner’s insurance to cover the loss? Why would burglars steal a house key when they clearly didn’t need it to get into the house? You can get locks re-keyed. They don’t need to be replaced unless they were broken during the burglary. Something sounds fishy here.You’re a very good friend, but help her out by inviting her to your house for dinner and listening and spending time with her. Don’t give her or her parents money, at least not based on what you’ve heard. Hold on and see what happens in the next few weeks before you decide, and talk to your parents about it first.

Can someone help me with this math problem please?

You can make a system of two equations. Let a be the number of adult tickets and c be the number of children's tickets.

a + c = 150 (total of 150 tickets were sold)
7.5a + 4.75c = 891.25 (total receipts)

Now solve using the substitution method. First solve for one of the variables in one of the equations:

a + c = 150
a = 150 - c

Next substitute 150 - c for a in the second equation and solve for c:

7.5a + 4.75c = 891.25
7.5(150 - c) + 4.75c = 891.25
1,125 - 7.5c + 4.75c = 891.25
1,125 - 2.75c = 891.25
-2.75c = -233,75
c = 85

Finally, solve for a:

a = 150 - c
a = 150 - 85
a = 65

ANSWER: 65 adult tickets were sold and 85 children's tickets were sold.
