Can Someone Plzzz Suggest Me Books To Read

Can anyone suggest some good books for someone who is just starting to read again?

If your age is from 8 to 12 start with Famous Five. If your age is 12 to 16 but your English is poor, go with Nancy Drew or Hardy Boys. If your age is 12 or higher:But since you're a beginner I would suggest reading short books with fast plots like Digital Fortress or Deception Point by Dan Brown. I highly recommend these two for a beginner. For longer and more serious plot go with Shantaram. For more advanced reading go for books by Ayn Rand or George Orwell. However, if you really want to stay motivated and read a book I would suggest that go to a book store or a library, read the synopsis on the back of the book and choose the book yourself.I hate history, can't help you there.

Can someone help me with the book lord of the flies, plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I AM BEGGING YOU!!?

Foreshadowing: Chapter 6. The rolling of boulders off the Castle Rock in Chapter 6 foreshadows Piggy's tragic death.

Symbolism: Chapter 1. A symbol Golding uses throughout the book was the conch. It represented authority and order. The person who held the conch had the power, and it created order and rules since when it was called, everyone had to listen. Another symbol was Piggy’s glasses. It symbolized knowledge and insight. While Piggy had them, he was able to give advice to the group, such as that of the signal fire. It was the glasses that created the fire. However, after the glasses were broke, the group loses what insight they had.

Metaphor: Chapter 5 (I think). The dead parachutist was a metaphor for the war and its destruction. It also introduces real fear into all of the boys- fear of the unknown.

Simile: Chapter 2. "The breezes on that lagoon had chased their tails like kittens were finding their way across the platform into the forest (34).

Dramatic Irony: The rescuer thought the boys were merely playing and chasing each other for fun when in reality, Ralph was running for his life because Jack was going to kill him. The navel officer scolded them saying that British boys are more well behaved and well kept than they are. The navel officer had no idea what went on during their ordeal.

Personification: Chapter 8. The Lord of the Flies was made as if it could talk and give advice. This is a good example of personification because Golding made it seem as if the pig was alive by even naming it.

Allusion: In the story, Lord of the Flies, there are many biblical allusions; Simon represents Jesus, the pig's head represents Satan or rather their satanic sides. The title is said to be a reference to the Hebrew name Beelzebub (בעל זבוב, Baal -zvuv, "god of the fly", "host of the fly" or literally "Lord of Flies."

External conflicts: Surviving on the island, the "beast", and each other

Synecdoche: Chapter 1. Take for example Piggy. He is fat, nerdy, and kind of a pushover. His real name isn't Piggy and obviously he is not a pig. However, because of his flabby stomach and husky size, he is called Piggy in that regard.

All the players on the Royals baseball team welcome the arrival of new player Chico Romez. All, that is, except first baseman String Becker. No matter what Chico does, String criticizes him, and off the field he consistently snubs him. He yells at Chico for committing foolish mistakes, snubs him on and off the field, and worst of all, makes fun of Chico's love of diving and swimming.
