Can someone give me programming direction to get me on the right track?

As much derision as JavaScript tends to attract from hipsters (like me), it's still the language that powers the Internet. If you're interested in making web applications, you've lost nothing, and you should continue, full speed ahead, learning and practicing JavaScript. It's still a very much current and commonly used language. If you were interested in writing desktop software or mobile apps, on the other hand, I have some bad news: JavaScript is very poorly suited for this task (and therefore almost never used for this purpose).Other answers have given a number of excellent resources to learn what are called "general-purpose" languages. Personally, I advocate Python as a first general-purpose programming language. From there, I'll give you my usual breakdown for languages you should pick up based on where your interests lead you:general use / personal pet projects: Python, Ruby, Lua, Google Go ("golang")making a living as a software engineer: Java, C++, C#web development: JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, PHPmobile apps: Java (Android), C# (Windows Mobile), Objective C (iOS)extreme efficiency and/or operating system hacking: Cstudying computer science: Haskell, Scheme, Common LispNote that the above languages are all quite popular, which means they are more likely to have decent learning resources, third-party libraries, projects you can contribute to and look to for examples, and even find someone to pay you to use. There is no shortage of rare and obscure languages which are nonetheless excellent in their own way (OCaml, Clojure, Scala, and F# are among the obscure ones I've taken a liking to).Note also that after a certain point it becomes less about learning a language as learning a new programming paradigm. The general attitude at this stage is that picking up a new language which uses a paradigm you already know is easy. But you won't be there for a while.Good luck!

Can someone help me with this confusing math probability question?

a) For a simulation, you run repeated trials of picking bulbs and keep statistics on how it comes out.
generally this is done with a computer program. A computer can run a staggering number of
trials in a simulation quickly.

At a high level, you have a loop that runs trials

For i = 1 to number of trials

Pick 15 bulbs (one way to do this is to fill up a list with all the bulbs, then randomize the list;
the 15 bulbs are the first 15 bulbs in the randomized list)
Count number of each color
Add color counts for this trial to total color counts for all trials

end loop
average color counts = total color count/number of trials

For a really large number of trials, the average color counts should approach the theoretical number.

I find simulations handy when I'm unsure whether I'm doing it right. If the simulation results
aren't close to my theoretical results, I know I've messed up somewhere...

d) Simulation results don't usually exactly match theoretical results. Theorical results always
gives the same answer. If you run a simulation more than once, each result will be
slightly different because all the cases you run are independent random events. The best you
can generally hope for is that with a large number of trials in your simulation, that multiple
simulations and the theorical result will agree with each other to several decimal places.
If they don't agree to the degree that you want, you need to increase the number of trials in
the simulation.

How does someone start a blog or what are some good sites that will point me in the right direction to get started?

Hey man, starting a blog may seem hard but it’s actually pretty easy !I started my own blog when I was a university student back in the beginning of 2017 so I can give you some pointers. What do you need to start your own blog?#1 A domain nameThis is your own “.com” like “fancypants.com” or something. You would need to buy it, sort of like renting property. The way it works is that you usually pay a fee, like $15 to own your chosen domain name for a year.Alternatively you can use some free subdomains. These are names like “fancypants.blogspot.com”. Meaning you are a site, under another site !For the purpose of making money though, I would suggest getting your own domain.#2 HostingSo when you start your own blog, you’d want it to be up 24/7 right?Obviously you don’t want to keep your computer on all the time too right? So the solution is to host your blog on a server ( which basically means some dedicated computer somewhere else ).How this works is that you pay a monthly fee, which can be as low as $5 per month to keep your blog up and running. There are different packages and usually the higher the price, the better the hosting in terms of how much traffic it can handle. In other words, if a million people were to visit your site the $5 might not be able to handle it and you’d have to upgrade.#3 Content management systemOk, you have your own .com and you have a computer to run it on, cool !Wait up, how are you gonna add content to your site?See the traditional way would be to learn how to code, but come on, ain’t nobody got time for that.So luckily for us, we can choose to install our content management system. An example that you’ve probably heard of would be Wordpress. This is basically just an interface that helps you add blog posts and images and customize or site, etc …So there you have it ! Easy as pie eh ?If you’d like to know more about creating your own blog in detail, and making money from it, you can learn more here.

Differential Equation Homework Question - I don't even know where to start?

If someone could just point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated! Here is the problem:

A new cell phone is introduced into the market. It is predicted that sales will grow logistically. The manufacturer estimates that they can sell a maximum of 90 thousand cell phones.

After 28 thousand cell phones have been sold, sales are increasing by 3 thousand phones per month.

Find the differential equation describing the cell phone sales, where y(t) is the number of cell phones (in thousands) sold after t months.

I’m planning on starting in forex trading. Can someone point me in the right direction? Where do I get started (like is there a YouTube video) What do I need to know before getting started? Should I pay someone to advice me or should I do it myself?

Well over 90% of all independent forex traders lose money.Let that sink in before you do anything else. You need to understand how the FX markets work. They are, essentially, decentralised OTC markets over which you will have absolutely zero influence. The honest answer is that the best way to learn is to join the business as a professional as that will give you access to information, capital, trading systems, risk management and, most importantly, peers with who you can learn. Setting out on your own, with no knowledge, is a very very high risk indeed and one that I would advise you to think very carefully about. In answer to your question, there are plenty of books and online resources that you can learn from. Theories, however, are not practice and there is no match for experience. This is what professional FX traders doA Day In The Life of A Professional Forex Trader
