Can Someone Tell Me How To Learn All I Can About Video Games

How can one teach themselves how to make video games?

I've seen videos of game designers all saying that the best way to get into the video game designing industry is to just sit down and start making your own video games but I don't really understand how exactly to make games. I know nothing about programming but I've tried working a little in the gamemaker software and I've tried learning C++ on my own, but I find it really hard to teach myself without having a teacher around or giving me assignments or a grade to encourage me to stay focused and work. Luckily I'm going to enroll in a Computer Programming class in a few weeks at my university, though it's not a game designing class, I should learn how to program using C++ in the class. Anyway, I've tried to learn how to make games on my own, but I just don't know where to start and how to encourage myself to stay focused. Does anyone who have made their own games have any advice on how to learn on your own how to make games? Do you really need to learn the C++ programming language before you start making games? And does anyone know of any useful forums or groups from person experience that would be good for beginners to join? Thank you.

Why Do I Get So MAD At Video Games?

If it matters, i'm a 17 year old male, so hormones have me all over the place ALREADY. So lately, I started playing a game called Fortnite on PlayStation 4. You are put into a lobby with 100 people and a storm that constantly shrinks. The goal is to do anything necessary to be the last one standing. Whenever i'm met with confrontation in this game, I freak out and panic, forgetting that I must shoot the person, and end up getting shot. Following my mini heart attack, I proceed to rage and feel the need to throw whatever is in my sight, which would be my controller 9/10 times. People tell me to calm down, but if I don't let that anger out, I will respond very negatively. When I don't let out stress, I end up getting grey hairs and acne!!! Gaming is an expensive hobby and I don't need it to be any more expensive by paying 60 bucks for a controller every two months. Hell, my current PlayStation 4 controller is missing it's L1 button due to me throwing it full force. Someone help me resolve this! Please Help :(

Can someone please tell me how Rugby works?

Its basically the same as American football except without any forward passing or blocking (oh and no pads). Instead of blocking in front, rugby players push from behind and try to heel the ball back during the breakdown of play.

Rugby is continuous in that the game doesn't stop after a tackle. The ball carrier must drop the ball when he is tackled or there is a penalty.

Actually American football is a spin-off from Canadian football (yup, we played it first) which is in turn a spin-off from rugby.

The word 'touchdown' comes from the fact that in rugby you actually have to touch the ball to the ground when you cross into the end-zone instead of just crossing the line.
