Can Stuff In A Safe Deposit Box Get Stolen

Can stuff in a safe deposit box get stolen?

I put some things in a safe deposit box. Are they safe there? I know if a bank robbery occurs, there is a risk. Or, if there is a fire or flood, they can get damaged. Would a banker or bank teller be able to steal from it? And if they could, is there a high chance that they would? Also, how could they considering I have one of the keys? If they did, would their bank be in big trouble?

Lost $240,000 in cash which was in a bank safety deposit box?

I doubt it.

Interestingly enough, in the early seventies, the group Led Zeppelin had an identical occurrence with about one hundred thousand dollars.

Valuables are something you want to keep a line on. There are no absolute
safeguards against thieves even with documentation/record keeping of any kind. Like the old saying: Where there's a will there's a way - is the lifeblood of the career criminal.

Safety deposit boxes are only just that. Some see it as a convenience to get ready cash, others don't want their cash to show for obvious reasons. Risky business, that.

They present no safeguards against anything and are intended for the storage of personal belongings of personal values, but not to entrust one's life savings to!

In case of a robbery, what happens to stolen safe deposit boxes in the bank?

They are usually emptied if the contents are valuable and what the burglars want an then left on the floor for some other poor blighted to clean up.They are checked for damage and the locks replaced and you are’told of the incident and of course get new keys.

What happens to items in a safety deposit box when a bank goes bankrupt?

If you are paying for the box,The FDIC (or other agencies) will transfer that “box” to a different bank. If you don’t claim your stuff, The Locks will be drilled, and the contents turned over that states unclaimed property office.

Where do you think it's more safe to hide $5000?

Is there a way to track stolen bitcoins?

You can think of bitcoin as money that comes wrapped in a safety deposit box. The question then becomes whether you want to operate that box yourself, or entrust a third party to do it for you. Most ordinary investors choose the latter option, buying, and storing their bitcoin with a service like Coinbase. This is a sensible option since those services rely on the security features built into bitcoin—just like you would do if you hold the bitcoin yourself. The other option is to acquire a bitcoin wallet for yourself. This entails keeping track of two strings of keyboard characters—known as a “public key” and a “private key.” You can think of the public key like a deposit slot for your safety deposit box where anyone can give you bitcoin, while the private key is a secret way to open the box that only you should know. Bitcoin is designed so that it’s basically impossible to guess the private key, which means no one can hack or force themselves into your wallet except you are tricked through scams to send them bitcoins, just like any other currency that can be tracked bitcoins can also be traced and recovered you just need to contact the right person, in my case MICHAEL VEKSLER helped recover my lost ethereum, some other bitcoin recovery agents exist you just have to get one you trust and can work with.

Is it safe to leave possessions unattended at the Beaches in California?

I'm from melbourne australia and I'm planning to travel next year to California alone. I love going to the beach. Ive been to many beaches in aus like bondi, palm beach, surfers paradise, noosa, etc. Ive left my phone and wallet unattended and unsecured at those places while I was out having a swim for up to an hour and I have never been stolen once.

I'm planning to go to at least a few beaches in california and I want your honest opinion: is it safe to leave my valuables unattended when im alone and have no one else to protect them?
Do thieves ever target california beaches?

How can I ensure that my vote for Trump will not be stolen by Hillary in November, like she did with Sanders?

Look, the idea of that happening is just silly. First, any state that is “in play”, as in a toss up for either candidate is almost certainly controlled by the GOP at a local level. In fact, many states that are not likely to go GOP for President this year are controlled locally (legislatively) by Republicans. They work with board of elections, the poll volunteers, all of it. The have bi-partisan people working with everyone. This is all at the local level. No political party has the money or reach to change enough votes in enough states among all these parties. No one. This isn’t Iraq or Afghanistan where you have tribal leaders and state controlled media. The elections are going to be as fair as possible. Will there be problems? Yes. There are always some, but none of these problems will be big enough to make a difference in the election. Other than Trump and his minions, all the Republicans agree the elections will not be stolen.Regarding Sanders, Clinton did not “steal” the election from him. She won the votes. The had more money. She had minority support. She had a better organization. She had a better ground game. She had all the Baby Boomers, which is a huge electorate. Sanders, had young, educated, white people. That is significant, but still small, electorate. Not that much different than the movement Ron Paul has had in the past.Sanders other issue was that the Democratic party leadership preferred Hillary, a long time member and supporter, to Sanders, a mostly independent socialist who has caucused but never contributed anything of significant to the party. This is not “stealing” an election. The amount of conspiracy crap I see about this election is ridiculous. It really does show how uneducated and gullible Trump supporters, at least the vocal ones, appear to be. I weep for what was once my party. Trump and Tea Crappers have ruined it.
