Help cant miss anymore school or i go to court!?

okay, well I've been missing a lot of school lately Ive had a few illnesses that have kept me out for a number of days. It seems like the days i didn't have a doctors note and my parents wrote me an excuse i forgot to turn it in so some of the days were unexcused absences. Now this is where my real problem is i received a letter in the mail that said I've reached a number absences that was like the limit. They stated that every day hereafter a 100 dollar fine has to be paid and i get a court order. Its possible that once i get to the court i could get 5-20 days in juvenile detention i can't let that happen i don't want to go there. I need to know what is a reasonable excuse for missing a day with the letter pending ; What is considered okay if i don't go to school. Every letter, agreement, citation, anything has to have a Leupold somewhere i was wondering if anyone could tell me how i could get out of it.

Why does it say that evening and morning were a full day in Genesis 1 as that sounds like the afternoon is not included?

A day being measured from evening to morning in Genesis 1 is that the beginning of time was marked by darkness. Genesis 1:2 notes, “The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep.”Then, in Genesis 1:3-53 “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.”Light came after darkness, indicating the markers of a full day. In the Jewish tradition, days follow this pattern of night first, then day. Still today, practicing Jews observe the Sabbath beginning on sunset of Friday until sunset on Saturday.Eventually, there was a change to today’s practice where a day starts at midnight. The modern calendar is based on the Gregorian calendar, a revision of the Julian calendar implemented in 45 B.C. by Julius Caesar. As Christianity spread throughout Europe, the Julian calendar became the standard adopted by other nations. The revision into the Gregorian calendar came in 1582.Genesis 1 reveals that the days of the week were originally measured “evening” then “morning.” Each description of the seven days of creation uses this format, indicating a day that began at sunset. The Jews in the time of Jesus continued to recognize this pattern. One example in the Gospels involves the burial of Jesus. Joseph of Arimathea placed Jesus in a nearby tomb just before sunset (John 19:42). Luke 23:54 reads, “And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.” The fact that the Sabbath began at sundown also explains why the two thieves’ deaths were hastened (John 19:31).Genesis 1 marks days from evening to morning as a natural extension of God turning darkness into light. This tradition continued through the New Testament period and is practiced today by many observant Jews. Christians are not bound to divide days the same way, but an understanding of the Jewish way of reckoning time is basic to understanding some of the cultural practices in the Bible.

When buying a gun from a pawn shop, what should I look for?

I want to buy a rifle from this pawn shop in town, but I'm a little apprehensive because I do not really know what would indicate that there is something wrong with it. I haven't been able to handle it yet, since I wasn't intending to buy it that day (store policy). Cosmetically it looks fine, no scratches or anything. I'm going back later today to start the buying process, but I want to make sure that everything is in good shape first. Here's a couple of questions I want answered before going though:

-Is $400 to cheap for a bolt-action .30-06 and scope?
-There was a plate screwed on, covering the magazine entry. Can I remove this?
-Am I allowed to dry fire the rifle, to make sure everything works?

I don't have anyone nearby that has any gun experience, so I'm trying to figure it out myself. All my guns have been bought for me, so this is my first time going through this process. Thank you for your time and insight.
