What games can I run in PC?

For a PC with 4GB RAM,Intel HD 5500(which I trust will have approximately 1750MB of video memory) you can run several entertaining and addictive video games. They may be classified as:Action games like Max Payne 3, Max Payne 2, GTA San Andreas, 4.Adventure games like Lara Croft Tomb Raider 2013,Tomb Raider Legends, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, AC: Brotherhood, AC: Liberation HD, AC: Rogue and other AC parts(but not Unity and Syndicate since they require 6GB RAM and i5 5th Gen).Army-based games like Battlefield 3 and 4(not Battlefield 1 as it need 8GB RAM and i5), COD Black Ops 1 and 2.In case you happen to like Harry Potter series then all of its PC games. I personally recommend HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban and HP and The Order of Phoenix. If you’re a NFS fan then NFS MW 2, NFS Rivals.Howsoever, before running any of the above games it is always warmly welcomed that you once Google the minimum and recommended system requirements for the desired game. And always check multiple different links for the game(they differ slightly in opinion). Have fun with PC Games but don’t forget to check if your PC is even configured for the game or not. Enjoy! Cheers to all you gamer buddies out there!

Why can't my PC run any games?

People commonly say if you can’t run any games, it’s because your hardware is out of date. But developers could run some pretty interesting games with a limited amount of resources back in the 90s.And while the graphics of video games have increased, one might wonder if the optimization’s developers made in the past have kept up at the same pace as the graphics. It seems more likely that developers might be more interested in adding new features, as opposed to spending time optimizing code to run 10% faster on machines. There’s certainly more money to be made from adding new cards to Hearthstone than improving the animations to run faster on Windows computers. One may also wonder to what extent Intel sponsorships and graphics card companies may influence the trajectory of companies like Blizzard and Riot.Certainly, it doesn’t seem like it’s in Intel’s best business that video game companies should make games more efficient with time. You couldn’t sell as many CPU’s that way if everyone could just use an i5 to run their settings at 60fps.But we know that’s possible because of mobile games which have ports of popular Windows games, like PubG and Hearthstone. If hardware really was the biggest constraint, you’d expect far less, successful ports. But when given no other choices and a smaller set of resources, it seems like developers are able to optimize games to run on “slower” hardware.Food for thought.

Will this PC run the newest games at max settings?

There’s no way that computer will run ALL of the latest games at max settings. Mostly because the console versions of those games remove certain elements and features, as well as lower the framerate or resolution to compensate. People don’t replace their consoles with computers for practicality, it’s because we want BETTER than a console can provide. If you want to run ALL of the latest games at max settings with a guaranteed 60+ fps then you need to look into something with a genuine Core i7 (maybe i7–6600K), and a new GTX 1080 GPU. Also, at least 16 GB of RAM.This might help explain what I mean about the console changing the framerate and resolution to maintain the game integrity…PS4 vs. Xbox One Native Resolutions and Framerates - Xbox One Wiki Guide - IGN

What is missing in a PC that it can’t run PS4 or Xbox games, software or hardware?

The software is not compatible down to instruction level.Sure they largely use x86–64 ISA and PC-similar GPU ISAs, but the chips are custom made for MS and Sony and includes custom instructions. Running these software would require emulation in any sense. Then to the API level. PS4 uses a custom FreeBSD variant and custom libraries, which include APIs not present in any other distributions. You need to reverse engineer these APIs as well or the emulator would not know what to do when the game calls them. X1 is even more complex, the games are actually packed VM images running on the game VM on top of the system hypervisor, try emulating that. Then to the accessory hardwares. There has been a successful linux port on PS4, the creator went through a HUGE hassle. PS4 hardware is NOT PC compatible, no ACPI, no standard firmware interface. In the end he had to redefine a whole new architecture just for PS4 and rewrote drivers according to leaked documentation, and it just barely works. Try the other way around, inside an emulator which is already slower by a magnitude.
