There are probably a lot of schools in your area that do not have art teachers because of budget cuts. You may want to check into which schools would welcome an art teacher or a chance to do art projects. How involved do you want to get? I was thinking of some of the cities that have summer projects involving statues (like cows in Chicago and guitars in Cleveland). Artists or groups paint them and then they are displayed throughout the city. After a while, they are auctioned off. You could do this on a "small" scale- maybe have students decorate boxes and place them in the mall to be raffled off for a charity. The students could be very creative with their boxes- and this will give shoppers a chance to see how creative young people are. Just a few ideas.

Pythagorean Spiral Design Ideas?
The pythagorean spiral is my math project. I've completed the spiral itself, but part of the grade is to "creatively decorate" it. If I do that well, I can get extra credit. HELP! I need ideas for a pre-k class project ASAP....?
get a big poster, i big picture of like.....a puppy or...something kids like. then divide that picture up into even squares by the amount of how many people are in the class. cut out the squares and hand one square out to each child. have them draw what their square is then reconnect them all so it makes ne big picture again, so now you have the picture of the puppy (or whatever it is you choose) but each portion is redrawn by each kid in the class! its perfect every parent will want one! if i didnt explain it very well i.m me and ill try and explain it a little better...vbeach_bunnie ( on yahoo messenger) i have a few other ideas too
