How do I get back to the old Gmail format? I can't search Trash and I find the new form difficult.
There is/was an option to switch back to classic GMail view from settings (the “gear icon” near the upper-right corner). Some people have mentioned that it’s no longer an option, but I’m still seeing it for now. It will go away eventually, and you’ll only have the newer view.To search your trash, just put “in:trash” as part of your search.

You cannot return to a previous format of Yahoo Mail. Yahoo Mail Classic and all previous and older versions of Yahoo Mail have been discontinued and are no longer available. Is the new format a cruel joke? Has Yahoo been taken over by a cyber attack? I loved the old classic format. I had no choice when they converted me to the new format at the beginning of the year. Have had nothing but problems with it. But today, the format is totally different. I tried emailing a friend a couple of times. We are both getting jumbled up messages out of order and then my sent messages come back to me later. I have used yahoo since I had a computer. My website and business cards have my yahoo addy, but this may be the straw that broke the camels back. I may have to look at gmail or something. This is a horrible cluster ---- Hoping that yahoo will get flooded with complaints. By the way. They now have a toll free number. I called it the other day after getting an email pretending to be from yahoo and asking for my password. Of course it was phishing, but it looked exactly like yahoo. hello I cannot get used to your new system of conversation within the emails exchanges. I keep on losing track who writes what and what did I really sent to who??? I now send emails to wrong persons, so I would really better comme back to your old version of Yahoo which was just perfect to me. If this is impossible, I think of changing of stopping my yahoo email add. I cannot carry on getting upset with it. why by the way did you change (to optimize?) without asking if we are ok or prefer to keep old version? please help me to get back my good old yahoo email versions. thanks ! bye val
