Can We Still Make Avatars On Our Yahoo Like The Old Days Lol Or Did Yahoo Change That

Why do some people here choose not to display avatars?

Good question, Duke of Tudor.

There are many answers to the question.
Some users may not know how to create and display an avatar. Some users view the avatar as a means of self-identification and elect not to display one. And, I have seen some people comment that they do not like to be depicted as an electronic person (strange, I know).

I chose to create an avatar so people would know who they were contacting and talking to. I also did not like the look of a grey box with a head inside of it. . .

What would you change about yahoo answers if you could change two things?

How in the world do I change my photo here on YA?

We cannot change our profile pictures or add one since early this year.
The page to do that was shut down and no alternative replaced it, so we are no longer able to change them.
We have no idea and possibly even Yahoo doesn't know when or if that will happen.

Those who have an avatar with a picture had them before they shut down Yahoo profiles.
Not looking good that will ever happen.

Yahoo is not saying anything about that since March and it has been beyond 11 months now since that option was
taken away.
This was the last we heard from staff. https://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/21900...

Change one thing in your chart??

That is an interesting question and I have been thinking about it for a while now. However, I would not just change only one thing in my chart. There are quite a number of aspects that can truly become oppressive. I will mention them below.

-Neptune in Capricorn (retrograde).
There's no room for intuition in here. Quite often I feel like I'm actually living in a smog.

-Virgo ascendant
Horrible house placements and making bad aspects with mercury which adds to my introverted nature that is produced by sun and moon in cancer; Also very self critical.

-Capricorn (also saturn in my chart) is in the 5th house.
Of course this is hardly a favorable position for saturn especially since capricorn is definitely not too high on the creativity or romance which are ruled by this house. It's difficult for me to express myself well enough through physical gestures).

-Pisces in the 7th house.
It has to do with disappointment in the 1st marriage which adds to my insecurity because most cancers dont even want to think about divorce.

-Aries in the 8th house.
Having mars in the 8th can open way for some stressful situations.

-Neptune and Uranus in the 4th house.
Since difficult aspects are involved I wouldn't really want these planets in the house of family and home.

-Oppositions in Cancer
Well the problem is that all of them are in cancer which plays an important role in my chart (sun, moon, jupiter). The 10th and 11th house are affected from this.

-Squares in Mars
I feel that mars squaring neptune and jupiter are two of the worst ones in my chart. They lead to confusion, delusion, exhaustion and impulsiveness.

Well it seems like I have a lot of changing to do....lol! :-)

How often do you change your Facebook profile picture?

I haven't changed in for 3 months now. I really like my picture but I also haven't had the chance to change it as I haven't been on Facebook for that long and there are no other pictures that I like. I'm going to wait until the summer to change my profile picture :) xoxo

On average, how long does it take to write a movie script?

I've written about fifteen screenplays "on assignment" from different production companies and studios. The contracts I sign for each project stipulate how long I have to complete three "steps." For the "first draft," I'm given 10-12 weeks. Then I get a round of notes from executives and producers. For the "revision" of that draft I'm given 6 weeks, and receive another round of notes. Lastly I do a "polish" which is supposed to take 3 weeks. So "how long it takes" is often completely determined by the deadline. I could write a screenplay in a week if my deadline were next Sunday (but not a very good one.)The important thing to remember is that screenplays are never really "finished." Drafts are finished, but they are subject to revision. You may finish your "writer's draft" of a spec script in three weeks, but that's not the draft you show anyone. After a month of revisions, you may have your "first draft," but when your friends, fellow screenwriters, and agent read it, they will have all sorts of feedback, and you will want to make changes. That cycle could take months. Then, if the screenplay is sold, you will get feedback from development executives. Then, when a director is attached, he or she will have a "take" that may change things. Production difficulties may require changes as it is shot. Just last year I was called upon to write new scenes for "reshoots" on a project that had finished principal photography four months earlier. This process of feedback, revision. and recreation could last years. I sold my first spec script, eleven years ago, and after over 20 rewrites over a decade, I just recently was paid to do yet another rewrite of a very early draft, so that (I hope, I hope, finially) the humble little movie will go into production next year. So, I'd argue that screenplays are really protean documents, subject to continual revision, and aren't "finished" until the movie actually premiers.
