Can Wisdom Teeth Cause Pain To The Canines Or Premolars

Am i getting my molars, or wisdom teeth?

I don't actually know whether these are your 12 year old molars or your wisdom teeth. You see, each person has 16 teeth on both their upper and lower gums. Everyone has 4 incisors, 2 canines, 2 premolars, and 3 molars. But your third molar is normally referred to as your wisdom tooth. The only reason it is different is because sometimes, peoples third molars, A.K.A. wisdom teeth, grow in at a strange angle. This puts painful pressure on the rest of the teeth. That's why some people have to get theirs extracted. Now, I don't want you to flip out when you see your third molar start growing in. As i said before, not everyone needs to get theirs taken out. Everyone is built differently, and some peoples third molars grow in at different angles than others. Both my parents had to get theirs extracted, but my aunt and uncle didn't. There really isn't any guarantee that you will or will not need yours taken out. So now, take a minute to count your teeth and see if you actually have 2 molars, or if you only have 1. Those premolars can be deceiving! Well, I hope I was of help. Oh! If you are only 12, then they must be your 12 year old molars. People usually don't get their wisdom teeth until they are about 18 years old!

Wisdom teeth or twelve year old molars?

Your second molar. It usually erupts around 12-13 yrs. so you're pretty close to that age. Also, the two "molars" after your canine (sharp fang tooth) are called premolars. You should have two premolars and three molars (including your wisdom teeth which you do not have yet). Hope this helps and doesn't confuse you.

How to tell the difference between 12 year molars and wisdeem teeth?

I'm 15 and have recently had a set of molars come through. This is my third set of the bigger molars and I also have the pre molars. I have no room left at the back of my mouth. It was quite uncomfortable getting them, just like when any teeth come through. I have heard that getting wisdom teeth can be quite painful but this pain wasn't that bad. Have I already got my wisdom teeth or are they just 12 year molars?

My premolar looks like a canine tooth or a fang, is that normal?

I don't know what you mean by pre-molar. If you start at the upper right last tooth the #1 tooth is your wisdom tooth. The #2 is your second molar. The #3 is your first molar. #4 is second bicuspid. #5 is first bicuspid. #6 is your cuspid (sometimes referred to as the vampire fang). #7 is your right lateral. #8 is your right front tooth.#9 is your left front tooth. #10 is your left lateral. You follow that pattern until you come to #16 whichwill be your upper left third molar you the drop down to #17 which is you lower left wisdom tooth. Eventually you will end up at #32 which is your lower right third molar wisdom tooth.I hope this helps you identify which tooth you are speaking of, a baby molar tooth can be replaced by your adult cuspid tooth.

Why does my neighbouring premolar tooth feels loose post lower first molar extraction?
