What is the oldest age a woman can still have her period? ?

I know this is a strange question, but I need to know, what is the oldest age a woman can still have her period? I'm 52 and it is showing no signs of leaving me any time soon, in fact it's getting worse with each passing month and year. Please don't suggest I see my doctor or gyn, I've already been down that path before, resulting in a big waste of time energy and money. Just want to know the maximum age I can still get it, so I can get an idea of how much longer, thanks.

Can a woman get pregnant a few days before her period and still have period?

It’s very, very unlikely, but not impossible, especially if you have irregular cycles, very short cycles, or hormone irregularities. On average ovulation occurs about two weeks before the first day of menstruation. Then there’s a two to three day window in which fertilization can occur and you become pregnant. The length of that window varies a little by person, but the egg is only viable for a few days as well. Two weeks later, when you get your period again, the egg should have already broken down to be flushed out with your period or reabsorbed into your body. However, sperm can live in the fallopian tubes for up to five days, so if you have short cycles and ovulate early in your cycle, it could be mathematically possible that when you ovulate the next time, the sperm will still be in your tubes. For example, if your cycle is only twenty days and you have a higher than average luteal phase (the time between ovulation and your period) of sixteen days, you could have sex the day before your period, Day 20, and still have viable sperm in your tubes on Day 4 when you ovulate (because the other 16 days of your cycle are post-ovulation).For most women, though, it’s just not going to happen.

Can i still get my period if i'm pregnant?

I read all the articles saying that your uterine lining is being taken out naturally when a woman has her period, but I haven't had mine in like two months and I do think I'm pregnant. I took about four test in the last month and a half. today, i got my period. i dont know if its just spotting or what ever. My real question, I guess is: will you get the same symptoms you get (cramping, bloating, etc...) when you have your period as when you are pregnant and just having what they call the "light bleeding". Because I am having all the regular symptoms of a period but i do still think I'm pregnant.

Do you still have periods if you can't have babies?

I'm sorry but as a nurse I should have a better understanding of what thrush is--I always thought of it as an oral illness, an infection of some kind that shows up in a filmy deposit on your mouth/gums/teeth. Am I wrong? If so, sorry! Anyway, yes you can still get your period if you are infertile, I have never had a baby, not for lack of trying, and I am 46 yrs old now & still menstruating, so in addition to being an RN, I think I shd be ideally suited to answer your question, & I would be happy to if only I understood what you are calling thrush? The way you can get checked out to see if you are still fertile is to see an OB/GYN asap, ok, and tell them about your infection history & also about your concerns about your future fertility. This is the best way I can think of for you to get the answers you need.
