Can You Become Tolerant To Norco Within 5 Days

Lowering Vicodin/Norco Tolerance?

Hi all, I've got a bulged L4-S1 (lower back/tailbone area). Surgery is not an option, and the Dr's are having me just wait it out and rest to allow it to heal eventually. I've been on various meds for my back and nerve pain such as Soma, tylenol 3, tylenol 4, vicodin 5/500, norco 10/325, percocet 5/325, lyrica to name a few.

The drug that works best for my back pain is Norco 10/325. I'm to the point where I have to take at least 3 of them at a time (30 mg hydro/975 mg APAP) to help my back pain. I'm wondering if decreasing my dose down to 1 norco at a time (10mg hydrocodone) will lower my tolerance in a short time so I no longer need to take 30 mg at time.

If it helps, I've only been on them for 2 months, my tolerance with opiates shoots up so fast though. And I realize quitting them altogether would lower my tolerance the fastest, but I'm trying to stay on at least 10mg so I prevent any withdrawal symptoms.

I took exactly 710mg of hydrocodone in 14 days will I withdrawl?

possibly not it depends, that is not a long period of time just a very high dose, especially on a 5mg pill I hope it was 5/235 and not 5/500 or higher on the APAP (acitomenophen aka asprin) as I would be more concerned about your liver at that point. Interesting fact, you are far more likely to die from an overdose (I know your talking about withdrawl and not overdosing just throwin that in there I'm on adderall right now) on asprin (liver damage) rather than hydro (which you would have to take until your respiratory system depressed until you stop breathing).

The withdrawls from opiates especially from a moderate one like hydrocodone are not that bad of a detox, I took 3-6 10/325s a day for a little over a month and may have skipped 2 days max in the month where I smoked an herbal supplement :) instead and I was bored and unhappy when I came off them for about 2 days, less physical and more psychological on opiates... which I wish were the case for benzos!

now give me 10 pts pls :D

Will I become addicted to methadone?

I want to get clean, but am scared of the detox pain. I have been doing enough heroin to become sick if i don't do any; everyday for about two months now. I want to use methadone to ease the dope sick but I do not want to replace the heroin addiction with methadone addiction. How many doses of methadone can i take before becoming addicted and needing the methadone everyday? I know the withdraw symptoms from heroin will last 3 to 5 days tops. I'm thinking of taking a small dose of methadone for only 4 days then stopping. That way I will not feel the dope sick but will not become addicted again, right? Please only informed experienced answers. I already hate myself for putting myself in this position. I don't need any judgmental or hateful comments.

What kind of painkillers do they give you after getting wisdom teeth removed?

I am getting my wisdom teeth removed soon and want to know what kind of painkillers they give you and what effects it does.

My friend tells me that you get a buzz on the pain killers. If thats true, what kind of buzz is it?

What can you take to enhance the feeling of Adderall?

Old question, but it popped up in my feed and so I'll put in my two cents worth.I've been on out a long time. At the highest dose that can be prescribed. I've also recently turned 40.It was always recommended that you take a few days off every week, to help get dopamine levels up and reduce tolerance. And doing that for many years I was fine. Then I had A lot of stuff to get done over the weekend, so I decided to take them. Holy Shit, I got so much done, it was great! So I took them everyday.Over the years I'd have to occasionally take an extra dose. It wss never a bad thing for me, it just worked. But, as I got older, it doesn't stopped being effective. All the time. And the only way to get a little bit of it back I had to take two or 3 times my dose.Repeat that cycle many years and I was in a similar boat you were. The only thing I've learned is the bull Shit old man adage. There's no shortcut for hard work.So I went back to taking days off. I exercise every day, and eat right. I try to go to bed early. And that's all it took to fix it.

How long does it take for a Norco 10/325 tablet to work?

Before you say anything just please read.

I'm 17 years old, i'm a male and i'm 136lbs.

Here's the story.

When I was 12 years old or so I was in a very bad car accident. I had internal bleeding in my stomach and my back was nearly broken. I was in a coma for 3 or 4 months and doctors said I probably wouldn't wake up from the coma. Well I did and I had to wear a back brace till I was about 13 or 14. I had to wear it for 6 or 7 months at least, I don't really remember. Anyway ever since then i've had very bad back pain and stomach pain, the stomach pain has gone away and it only occasionally bothers me, but no big deal. The back pain however is a different story, some days I have it, some days I don't.

I have a doctor that i've had since the age of 5 or so, he's a pediatrician and he never prescribes any medication to help me out. He believes in homeopathic stuff like those herbal supplements and stuff like that. I can understand where he's coming from, I mean, I wouldn't want to give someone my age medication like Vicodin or anything like that either, but no other medication will work.

I have tried Aleve, Tylenol, Ibuprofen, pretty much all OTC pain medication, nothing has helped, nothing. I took matters into my own hands and started learning about medicine online and started researching types of medication and learned about different types of pain and things like that. Last week I went to the doctor again and told him of my reoccurring back pain and he just did the usual thing. "Bend over, touch your toes. Good you have full motion, I believe you're just building muscle take some ibuprofen and you'll be okay" I tell him i've tried everything and nothing works but it's like talking to a wall.

I'm getting a new doctor soon because my parents feel the same way about this and before you ask, no, he does not listen to my parents either. My parents asked my aunt for some pain medication because she has lots, she gave me a bottle of Norco's with only 5 in the bottle. They're 7 years old but they work and relieve me of my back pain all day. But lately they haven't been working as well...Now I know about tolerance and stuff but one Norco used to take care of the pain all day long, now 1 Norco hardly takes care of it at all.

Is it because they're 7 years old? Please note that I have only taken 3 so far, 1, 2 weeks ago, 1, 5 days ago and 1 today.
