Can You Book A Flight Into One City And Out Of Another Via An Airlines Website

Is there a website that shows how long flights are from one city to another?

I want to plan a vacation, but before I choose a destination, I want to check flight times to different cities out of the country so I don't waste half my vacation on a plane. Of course I could pretend to book flights to get the flight times, but there are many cities I want to compare, so that's not really an option.

How does one book an international SAS flight using United miles?

I want to book an international "direct non-stop" multiple city business class seat on SAS from EWR - COP with return ARN - EWR using United miles. SAS website shows direct non-stop flights in both directions. The United website however only shows SAS code-share flights none of which are direct and require a stopover somewhere (e.g. Frankfurt). Since the miles are United, my understanding is one must go through United to book the flight. How does one book the direct nonstop flights shown on the SAS website, whether using a full points ticket, or purchasing a lower fare and using points for an upgrade. I need to know when I book the ticket that the upgrade is included before purchasing - I cannot just request a Star Alliance upgrade and wait until 24 hours before the flight to find out if the upgrade actually exists.

How can I book cheap domestic flights in India?

While booking your Flight ticket, if you're using any app like goibibo, makemytrip, Yatra make sure you clear the app data. The reason is airlines track that data and they simply hike the prices because they come to know you're going to book anyway.Always go to coupon duniya or coupon guru where you'll find some discount coupon codes which will benefit you.Refer and earn makemytrip, goibibo so that you'll get referral money which you can use while booking. (I've done this)Book early is the most important thing if you want your ticket at the cheapest rate.Book on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and avoid Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.Do not check the fare again and again it will increase within few minutes if you do so. (explained in the first point)I've used easemytrip since they do not charge any convenience fee and saved few hundred rupees. Here's one more important tip- most of the airlines have specific luggage allowance policy. For ex, You're allowed to carry 15 kgs of luggage in a check in baggage and 3 kgs of luggage in a cabin. If your check in baggage is 18 kgs and thus you've exceeded the allowance by 3 kgs and the airline will charge you some 700 Rs more. To avoid this, you can simply put 3 kgs of stuffs in your cabin baggage (in a backpack). Make sure you know the baggage allowance policy before or after your ticket booking and weigh your luggage in advanced.Pro tips- If you have booked your flight, call up the customer care of your respective airline and ask them to make a soft booking (seat of your choice)and choose near the wings on the either side. Why? - Turbulence is low near the wings hence your journey will be smooth. In case of emergency evacuation, you know where you are and the location of an emergency exit resides closer for faster evacuation, count the rows-visibility is negligible in case of fire and smoke.Do not choose a seat beside an emergency exit. It does not recline.Added unrelated points, thought you guys would read/need it, just in case. Period. :)

What is the cheapest airline to fly on?

It really depends on the exact airports being used, the dates you'll be gone, etc. I use http://quicksearch.shermanstravel.com/ to get a feel for what prices are on the aggregate sites, then I go to the airline's website to book my tickets. Hint: sometimes the prices are actually lower on the actual airline website, but sites like travelocity and such usually can give you a good feel for which ones to try.

The two biggest things that can affect prices are travel dates (flying on a weekend day is more expensive) and whether the airline you're using has its hub at one of the cities on your itinerary. For example, flying out of Milwaukee, Midwest can be cheaper because Milwaukee is the hub so they have more flights going more places. Flying from Milwaukee to Houston (IAH) was cheapest on Continental (when I went last year) because Houston is Continental's hub.
