Can You Change Routers Without Changing Plans

How to change password of PLDT Wifi Router KASDA KW58293?

Our technician installed a new modem after he fixed our wifi. It's a different modem from before and I searched and found out it was a KASDA KW58293 modem. Unfortunately, I can't find any ways on youtube or in the internet on how to change the password. The wifi is really slow the past few days I'm pretty sure our neighbors hacked it and connected to us. Please help!!

How can you get WiFi without internet?

You buy a wireless router and power it up. By default, most home wireless routers are manufactured with WiFi enabled. The WiFi network name (SSID) and pass phrase should either be on the router’s label or in the user guide. There should also be a password that will allow you to log on to the router’s settings and change them, including changing the WiFi name and encryption details. Changing WiFi settings is best done from a PC connected by Ethernet. If you change WiFi settings over a WiFi connection and make a mistake, you may not be able to use the WiFi until the error is corrected. The ports on the router that normally provide the connection to the Internet are left unused.

I changed my internet provider, now my wifi router does not work. What change in the settings of my router should I do?

Thanks for A2A.First of all, check your configuration of router and note it down (username, password of PPPoE, etc.) Now, factory reset the router. And configure it accordingly to the configuration of new internet provider's requirements. It should work now. If your ISP uses PPPoE, they may be using MAC specific login system for connection, so what you need to do is register your router's MAC address to the ISP. Remember, do not clone MAC and connect because that just doesn't sound right. Hope this helps!

Does a proxy only change the IP from my computer, or all the computers on my internet?

Hello, I am 18 so you can assume I still live with my parents. But I am planning on using proxies for various reasons, I was just curious if it will take any affect on any other computer in my house other than my own. I have a desktop with a router in my room. I am connected to my own internet that no one else really uses but all on the same modum. Will it affect them in any way?

Thank you!
