What do you think of my voice? What would you rate me out of 10? Can I take it to the next level?
Hi, I'm 19, female. I love to sing, but I don't know if I could take this to the next level. What would you rate me out of 10? What could I improve? I'd really love to hear your opinion! https://soundcloud.com/lililululalalolo2000/one-call-away-cover

Can you please tell me what you think of my cover letter?
I'm applying for Portrait Innovations. I know its not a "big deal" job but I really want to work there. Its for a studio sales associate position. My cover letter reads: Dear HR Department, I'm writing in regards to your recent job advertisement for a Studio Sales Associate. Please allow me to tell you a bit about myself. In December 2012 I graduated from Full Sail University with a degree in Entertainment Business. After doing a few gigs in my degree field, I honestly wished I would have gone to school for photography. Definitely not because I didn't enjoy what I was doing, but because photography seems more of my speed. Simply being a part of life time memories and being the person who actually captures those moments, I would love that! Now because I didn't have $60,000 to go back to school for photography, I became a personal photographer for my 2 year old daughter. I understand this is not just a photography position but a sales position as well. I am perfectly fine with that because I know what it takes to be a successful Sales Associate; product knowledge and persuasion. I take pride in knowing all necessary information about a position I hold to ensure prosperity and persuasion is my middle name. I like to not only get things done, but get things done the right way. What ever I start, I finish. Whether it is the most basic of office tasks or acting silly to make a baby smile, I can thrive in any environment Please refer to my resume which summarizes my experience in the Entertainment Industry. Thank you for your time and consideration. Respectfully, Tara Morrison Any feedback would be lovely
Does foundation cover up blushing?
1. Try to prevent blushing in the first place. Find out when you blush. Is it when you're angry, or when you're nervous? Is it when you look at or think of a certain someone? Is it when you're put in the spotlight? Don't necessarily try to avoid whatever makes you blush, but realize that there is no reason to blush when it comes along. 2. Snap out of it. When you do blush, you can quickly fade it out by relaxing your muscles (particularly in your shoulders and neck) and thinking of something else. A smile is also a great way to fade a blush, and it will look more natural as our cheeks naturally redden when we smile. 3. Stop caring. Most people either find blushing to be cute or don't notice it at all. And if you stop caring about your random red times, you'll have less of them. Basically, being less tense creates less signs of tension. If you learn to be more relaxed and care less what people think of your blushing, you won't worry about it anyway, and so there will be much less reason to blush. Besides, it's probably much less noticeable than you think! 4. Hide it! If you can't get your blush to fade, or you know you're going to blush soon, try to cover it up. If your hair is long, put it around your face. Rest your head in your hands if you're at a table. Adjust your position so you're facing more away from everyone. Even looking through papers, searching through a purse, anything to turn your face away is a good way to hide your facial flushing. Try to hide it with little effort, since if you move a lot more people will notice your facial flush!
Is it true that if you ask undercover police in the US if they're police, they have to tell you?
Well, I worked undercover a lot and got asked this question frequently. Not only did I not have to answer truthfully, the question demonstrates unlawful knowledge and intent on the asker’s part, so I was always happy to hear it. And afterward we usually had a lively discussion about entrapment, a misunderstood concept. But let’s look at this thing logically. I bought an ounce of PCP once with a .38 revolver pointed at my face during the entire transaction. So, if the holder had asked me if I was a cop, do you think the law required me to say “yep, you got me there, can’t deny it.”? I don’t think so. Even under less stressful circumstances, I’m allowed to preserve my “cover.”So, no. The officer does not have to disclose his official identity or break cover just because somebody asks him or her to do so.
What do hiring managers actually want to see in a cover letter?
As a hiring manager, I want see a well thought out cover letter. For most jobs I post, I get several resumes back for the position. The cover letter tells me a lot about you and why you believe you are most qualified to fill the role. The best cover letters, in my experience, are written with these things in mind:* Tell me you understand the role that I am posting for. Tell me how the skills you have already used will help you succeed in this role. Is there a particular requirement that I listed in the post that you excel at (i.e., self motivated, team player, customer service focused)? Tell me that. Show me that you read the posting and spent 2 minutes sizing yourself up against them. That is exactly what I am going to do when we meet face-to-face.* Tell me you already know something (anything) about the company I work for. Tell me how your previous position(s) make you uniquely qualified to succeed in the role that I posted.* Have you ever seen the line in a post that reads "Experience in 'pick one' industry preferred (or even strongly preferred)? If you have never worked in the industry I am in, spend a couple of sentences in the cover letter telling me why it is important to your career to get into this industry. If you've covered the other two items above well, I will likely still want to talk to you about working here. You might just have that one special trait that I am looking for to round out my team.Put all of these suggestions into a concise (3/4 page) cover letter and I promise you that I will ask you to at least join me for a phone interview. If this seems like way to much effort to land a new job, send me your resume without the cover letter. Your attitude would show up in your writing and I likely would not call you. Instead just send the resume to me and take your chances with the rest of the respondents who did not send one.PS ... If you write a carefully crafted cover letter the first time, you can easily copy/paste information from other jobs you apply for into it and send it out. You still have to be prepared to backup what you said in the cover letter when we meet face-to-face. At least this will make sending out multiple resumes (with personalized cover letters) not such a huge time consumer for you.
How can I know about my car insurance cover type?
I think the basic thing to do will be simply to ask your agent or directly call your company helpline and enquire.Or else just look into the coverage provided in your policy document.I have listed some of the coverage types below:1. Third Party Insurance: Is it the cover taken by the insurer for protection against the claims of a third party. It will not cover your own vehicle, it only covers the legal liability towards third party for death, property damage, disability, injuries etc.2. Collision Coverage: If you have a car accident, this car insurance coverage will cover your losses against the accident. Now, remember your car depreciates with time, the amount that’s payed to you will be proportional to the value of your car. The more the age of the car, the lesser the amount.3. Comprehensive Coverage: This according to me, is the best type of coverage. A comprehensive vehicle insurance coverage not only covers your car against accidents, it also covers your car if its stolen, has weather damage, the engine stops working etc.
