Can someone explain the Buddhist religion to me?
Im so confused, Im studying a religion class and Buddhism was confusing to everyone in the class even my teacher had a hard time explaining it. I heard they believe in reincarnation and then eventually they go into Nirvana which is no existence. Whats the point of being Buddhist if you just want to disappear and fade away into Nirvana. Why pray and be monks? It just sounds like a hopeless road to live and then just fade away. please explain

It is impossible to regress that far back, but humans are born with attavistic proto-ancestral traits from time to time. There are humans with full body hair (confirmed). There are humans born with tails (confirmed). Supposedly there have even been a rare case or two of humans being born with horns. You're not going to find an actual monkey born from human parents, but there may be a hint of truth to mythical beings like Hanuman or the Minotaur. To answer your original question though, contemporary biologists seem to agree that Darwin was RIGHT about variation, selection, and inheritance - the mechanism of how evolution works. Darwin, however, was WRONG about one thing: He believed life evolved slowly, gradually, at a steady pace. Life rather evolves in short sporadic bursts.
Do most people value human life over other life?
Oh yes ! If you Google how many animals are slaughtered everyday to feed humans you got the answer !Why humans can't switch to healthy vegetarian/vegan organic diet, without GMO and eat fresh food?Why they live off of poor animals ? Did eating meat made humans healthier or live longer?No sane man / woman want to work in slaughterhouse ! Meat consumers do not want to see production line ! :-) it's a horrific, but everyday happy consumers buy it …. Seems they either ignore the facts or lost their … (fill the blanks)It's massive , senseless procedure, beginning from the “farmer” to the butcher.Most people live under false impression they've sucked out from baby - I'm human , because I think I'm human.The secret is … no, you're not human, you are eternal soul, part of God, but now being covered by illusion you falsely identify with mortal body.If you truly value your life then learn the freedom, transcend 'human' limitations by realising;“ I'm soul, I'm Immortal ! “ I don't have to contribute to massive slaughterhouses…All life forms around us are the same souls like us, but they occupy different bodies and shapes.
