Can You Drop Someone Off Your Auto In

What should you do if someone put sugar in your gas tank?

Read this linkSugar in the Gas TankIt won’t do any harm. It might restrict the flow through the strainer in the gas tank, and if the strainer is missing or broken, it will clog up your fuel filter, restricting fuel flow there. How would you know that someone put sugar in your gas tank? My guess is that most people that have had sugar put in their gas tank never find out that it has been done because it doesn’t do any harm.If I didn’t have a locking fuel cap, I would be more worried about someone stealing my gas than about someone putting sugar in the tank. A tank of gas costs about ten times more than a new fuel filter.

Can an insurance company drop your auto insurance any time?

I have had 3 claims in 4 years. The first two claims where while living in another state. I since moved and just put in my third claim today (first claim with this company). My insurance payment really isn't all that high, about $75 monthly. The lady told me today that it would go up 10% if the cost was over $750. (it will be)

She said this didn't effect my insurability or anything, but what if I had another accident in a year??

The real question is, can an insurance company drop you for any reason at any time? Some have said no, only within the first 60 days, others say yes, absolutely any time.

What's the right answer?

What happens if you fail to drop off a U-Haul?

We will eventually consider it stolen. If one of our agents finds it, we will endeavor to repossess the truck or trailer. Oh yes, we are absolutely authorized to do so. If police pull you over for whatever reason, they will run the plates and determine the vehicle was stolen, and arrest you for it.Now, U-Haul has shown to be a pretty forgiving company, and on not less than 3 occasions we've had equipment reported stolen show up on overnight drops. We quietly dropped the stolen report, listed the vehicle as recovered, processed the return and charged the renter or set them up on a promissory note, cleaned serviced and repaired the vehicle, and put it back into service. But please, just return the damn equipment. Seriously, we won't bite. We don't want to see you arrested, we just want our truck/trailer/dolly back.

If someone drops a modern pistol with its safety off, will the gun shoot?

What kind of pistol? A revolver generally has no safety! Most revolvers of today have a hammer block (What is a hammer block for?), which blocks the hammer from hitting the firing pin, or a transfer bar (How safe is the transfer bar safety?), so safety is really inherent in the design. However, a Colt “Peacemaker” or a copy of them, can only be safely carried with an empty chamber under the firing pin, making a quick draw artist draw and cock while firing. Really, a modern revolver cannot be dropped with the safety off except when it is cocked and ready to fire!At the same time, many modern auto loaders have no safety either, as they require a long trigger pull, as in a Glock. The safety is in the design, and cannot be “off”.Now, a 1911 or a copy? Yeah, sure, but are you really going to be carrying a pistol with the safety off (if it has one)? You can easily shoot yourself!I have no idea how the FBI guy dropped his pistol and shot someone. If he had a 1911 design (M1911 pistol - Wikipedia), which is very much in use today, s/he can carry “cocked and locked” (Condition One Carry: Carrying Cocked and Locked) which is the safest for all concerned - all the officer has to do is flip off the safety and start shooting.Would a Glock fire if dropped? Possibly. If you drop your weapon, simply calmly pick it up, point it away from people, and check it for damage. As a revolver shooter, I don’t have to worry much about a safety; my S&W’s have hammer blocks, and my Blackhawks have transfer bars.Plus, I have never dropped a loaded pistol (67 yo, and been shooting since about 6 yo), and hope never to do so.

What can happen if I just drop off my auto lease car and walk away?

First off, are you talking about doing this before your lease is up, or after your term is finished?

This will depend on the lender. Some dealerships will accept a lease vehicle, including a voluntary repossession such as GMAC and Ford. You would have to tell the finance manager about the vehicle, you can not just drop it off and leave because if no one knows about the car, it will most likely be towed off their property, which would be very costly for you because now you will have to track down the car.

Let us know if you are turning it in early, or after term and we will be able to help you better. Good luck.

Can I request an Uber ride for someone in a different city?

Yes you can,When you open the Uber app it will generally show your location with a where to? Search barClick on where to type in the beginning address, landmark or company. If they're at a company or bar don't guess the address just put in the company name.If you have the drop off location put that in.Once you have a driver assigned It helps if you text the driver something likeI ordered the ride for my friend(friend’s name)she's wearing(describe them so your not at risk for paying for someone else's ride wasting time and money. Something like: she's wearing a red shirt and black yoga pants.)standing outside of (location)Sometimes the location dot on the drivers map is off but the address and company name is really useful.

Do Firestone Service Centers have drop boxes?

Can you remove someone from your car insurance policy?

if the policy is in ur name and you plan on keeping the policy and just taking her off it will be fine. u only have to have her on the policy now because she lives with u. once she is in college u can take Ger off but when she comes to visit she can borrow the car and be covered. u don't have to add her for the couple days because she doesn't live there.

you can always add and delete drivers on ur policy. u could add me if u wanted, the insurance company doesn't care, it just makes ur rate go up if its a young driver like her. and u don't need to show proof of new insurance to delete a driver or even cancel a policy. she will not have to pay for the time she didn't have her own insurance but some companies do offer a discount for people having constant insurance.
