Can You Face Chargers

What charges could I face besides murder if I killed my parents while having a psychosis?

That would depend on the nature of your actions. Generally speaking, those who kill others intentionally are charged with murder. If you were planning on it (I hope you are not) and it was premediated, you could be charged with capital murder. Depending on your state, you could be given the death penalty. Some states will add other charges depending on the nature of the crime. For example, if you wrap the body in plastic and bury it, you might be charged with Abuse of a Corpse. If you are a felon and you used a firearm to do so, you could be charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm. If you are asking about how psychosis may change this, this could alter your charges in one of two ways. 1. If you are found Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity because of the psychosis, you would be acquitted of the charges entirely. In other words, they would be dropped. 2. If you are found to have a "diminished capacity" or are unable to form the "level of intent" for the crime, you may be found guilty of a lesser charge (like manslaughter instead of murder). However, simply being psychotic does not guarantee you would escape the charges. This defense is successful in a very small minority of cases.Note: if you are actually planning on trying to do so, posting online ahead of time about it would be evidence for a finding of guilt.

What criminal charges would I face if I killed a person in self-defense? What can I be punished with?

U.K.The police would arrest you on suspicion of murder. You would be questioned on a suspicion of murder. You will be sent to the magistrates where the possibility of bail will be discussed. The police will put all the known facts before the magistrates, you will be charged with murder, asked how you intend to plea (guilty/not guilty) and they will most likely request that you are held on remand while they investigate further.Once the police have all the evidence, they will prepare a case and put it to the Crown Prosecution Service who will look at all the paperwork and decide whether to continue with the prosecution. At this stage charges MAY be dropped, but don’t count on it.As it’s a murder charge, this will entail a trial by jury. At the trial the defendant will plead NG, the full case will be given by both sides and it is at the discretion of the jury whether they believe the defence. The fact is that the charges can be dropped at any stage, the défendent may be offered a plea bargain (involuntary manslaughter while of unsound mind). If found guilty, then the judge will use the evidence given as part of the defence to decide on the severity of the sentence - Murder means Life, but the judge will recommend a minimum sentence.if there are enough mitigating circumstances, the judge can even recommend a minimum sentence equal to the time served on remand. But the defendant is then on “license” for the rest of their life, meaning the slightest thing can have them sent to prison - even missing a probation appointment, moving house without telling the police. There are cases where the claim has been successful at trial. But in most cases, where clear self defence is found (killed person has a history of violence, witnesses, evidence dead person fired first, etc) it never reaches that stage. No one likes to waste time and energy prosecuting someone where there is no chance that a jury will find the defendant innocent on grounds of self-defence.

What are the charges you face if you kill a police dog?

What are the charges you face if you kill a police dog?I guess the OP means “kill a police dog while committing a crime”, “kill a police dog intentionally” or possibly “kill a police dog negligently”, say by accidentally running over it with a car. There is this fiction common in law enforcement and consequently in the public that police dogs are “canine officers”, but in the eyes of civil law they are merely domestic animals, which is to say property. Thus as far as a civil suit for negligence, the civilian authority could only sue a person for the replacement cost of the animal, and possibly for temporary loss of use. Most auto insurance policies probably cover hitting an animal. If a person kills a police dog while committing a crime, the charges will vary according to the US state of other jurisdiction, usually a first or second degree felony. In Canada we had a notable case where a fleeing suspect stabbed a police dog to death, resulting in tougher legislation known as Bill C-34, providing for a min/max penalty of 6 months to 5 years, and it includes all police service animals, including horses.House Government Bill - Bill C-35 - Royal Assent (41-2)

What problems will I face if I use duplicate iPhone charger for 5s?

So I'm not sure if this is referring to the actual charger plug, or knock off cords… Or both. Let's start with the cords. If you're using a non-Apple cord, they fail more often, and the iPhone can sense that it is not genuine. It may not charge properly. It may bring up a pop-up screen frequently saying that the iPhone is not made to utilize this accessory… It may overheat, and in some cases (believe it or not… But I've never seen it) can actually make an iPhone explode. Now let's talk about the chargers, all of the same things apply… But unlike the cord, which is sitting inbetween a legitimate charger and a legitimate iPhone, a charger is plugged directly into an electric grid, so it exponentially increases the chances of overheating, overcharging, battery damage, and yes even spontaneous combustion. I've seen a number of cheap chargers catch on fire or in one case explode and set a small fire in an office. And let's be clear… I know Apple cords and chargers are not cheap, but they are also not completely overpriced. It's not like they are $100 each. So the few bucks you're saving on a cheap cord could very well damage the expensive product… The phone itself. So ask yourself, is it worth it? To lose all of the safety precautions built into every device that Apple has actually certified? Certainly not for me. You can make your own decision

Can I overcharge a car battery at 2 amps?

You can overcharge a battery with a 2 amp charger. However, doing so would take longer than overnight. A typical car battery holds 100 amp-hours. So a fully discharged battery (unlikely) would take 50 hours to charge at 2 amps. Most likely, your battery was at 50%, meaning it needed 50 amp-hours to fully charge, at 2 amps, this would take a full day.

Can I put a ls2 corvette motor in a dodge charger?

@ Rolomatic, the Charger is only a FWD if you're referring to the Omni-based Charger that was sold in the 80's. The current Charger is RWD or AWD.

Back to the original question, a Corvette engine would physically fit in the engine bay but after that, the real troubles begin ( such as how do you position and mount a GM block on the Chrysler motor mounts, how do you hook up a GM engine to a Chrysler transmission and how would you get the GM engine sensors to plug into a Chrysler wiring harness and talk to the Chrysler computers? )
