Can You Fit This Graphics Card Into A Dell Optiplex 760

What graphics cards are comparable with the Dell Optiplex 780? I’m not worried about it being (physically) fit into the case.

My first question is why? The system is old and very dated as of 2018. Performance is low even compared to 4 to 5 year old Core i3 and i5 processors or their AMD equivalents. If you have a specific need or are trying to keep attached equipment running, yes it will work but is the maintenance cost and time keeping an old machine running worth it.Also as noted anything newer would fail to give you better performance or may be incompatible with the graphics adapter slot. The Optiplex 780 was a good reliable machine. I use one at home still as my firewall with the factory original nVidia dual monitor graphics adapter, honestly I don’t remember which nVidia chipset now.

Dell optiplex gx620 w/graphics card vs Dell optiplex 760 without graphics card for gaming?

Hi I am deciding to play games on lowest settings on a cheap $200 pc. And I checked out dell OptiPlex gx620 mini tower and gonna add a radeon hd 4350 graphics card, also add 2 more gb of ram making it a pc of Pentium D 3.4 ghz and 3gb of ram with 80 gb storage. on the other hand theirs the dell OptiPlex 760 ultra small form factor (all in one) desktop its a ultra small form allowing me to not add graphics card or ram. So the pc stats for 760 is IntelCoreDuo 2.66 ghz, 250 gb storage and 2gb ram. which is the better gaming pc thanks.

Would a low profile graphic card (GTX 1030) fit into a USFF computer (Dell OptiPlex 780) without any problems?

I would assume so. From experience and a rough estimate it would be a yes, also it's worth noting if you need more graphical horsepower, you can purchase an ultra low profile GTX 1050Ti. If a GTX 1060 LP can fit into an Xbox One S case, then a GT 1030 can fit into an Optiplex.

I will be using this with an Intel core duo 2 e8400

Do i need to change the Power Supply Unit for the graphics card to work good?
Do i need to do anything else?

Upgrading an optiplex 760 CPU.?

All Core 2 Duo's and Core 2 Quad's are 64 bit capable, but you must have a 64 bit OS to run 64 bit programs.

Is your 760 the SFF (Small Form Factor) or the MT (Micro Tower)? If it's the SFF, stop now. Upgrading would be pointless due to limited internal space for a graphics card, and a power supply to support such a graphics card is impossible.

SW:Battlefront wants at least a GTX 660, modern equivalent would be around a GTX 1050. GTA V can get by with a slightly weaker card, but is cpu intensive and glitchy.
If you have the 760MT, according to the Dell forums that system was released with 2 different motherboards. One supports Quads, the other doesn't.
The Optiplex 760MT uses two motherboards -
T674K Non-Quad core CPU motherboard
U562N Quad core CPU motherboard

Usually, if your system came with a dual core it can't support a quad.
