Can You Gain Weight If You Miss 2 Days Exercise

Will i gain weight if i skip a workout?

I workout daily, almost 7 times a week for 40-60 minutes. I do mostly circuit training and eat healthy. Thing is, I've been pretty busy lately (moving to my new apartment) so I'm out in the afternoons buying groceries and running errands but it's not like it's heavy physical exercise anyway. I eat around 350-400 calories per meal. Is it okay to skip a day's workout or should I continue anyway? I feel lazy today lol.

Can starting an exercise schedule cause a late/missed period?

Actually it can and does.

Exercise is just one of the many things that can affect your period. Gaining/losing weight, stress, and other things affect your period as well.

Another little tidbit I have learned researching TTC is that the first phase of your cycle (from the first day of your period to the day you ovulate) can change dramatically month to month, from a few days longer or shorter, to up to 2 weeks longer or shorter. You can ovulate on the 16th CD one month, and the 26th CD the next.

It doesn't matter how regular you are, you are bound to have an off-cycle every once in a blue moon.

I would blame it on the exercise :o)

Why am I gaining weight when working out?

While I don't know your eating habits, you should ensure that calories expended are significantly less than calories taken in. A net expenditure of 450 calories will result in about a 1/8 lb loss.

The muscle comes first. Then your metabolism will increase as it takes more energy to feed muscles.

After about 6 weeks of working out, the changes should start. I've known a woman in your situation who noticed very little change until 12 weeks into the exercise program. Then the pounds melted away very quickly.

Patience and determination are the key.

Training should be a life style.
Just three days is nothing. Your body wont change that much in just 3 days. But try to not to skip it often.

I do my trining for years now. And even if you stop 2 weeks you don't loose nothing... but the 1st training might hurt after. Then is ok.
