Can You Get Thrown Out Of University In The Usa For Saying This

Can I get kicked out of university for low attendance?

Im from the UK, in my final year and busy with my dissertation. There is only 5 weeks of classes left and I have missed one class in particular quite alot and only been to 2 classes out of 7. Could they possibly kick me out at this late stage when im so close to graduating? regards

Can two university offers be accepted?

I have two offers from colleges. One from USA and one from Canada. Can I accept them both?`
Say I really want to go to University X (canada) and the offer is conditional based on my final results, and University Y ( USA) is unconditional, can I pay for them both, and then if everything works out with university X can I just reject University Y later on?
PS. University deadlines for both, and visa deadlines for both are approaching soon.

Thanks
Peace ouT!

Sister moved out without telling us?

We're very religious. She was always a nerd, my parents were against this because they claimed nerds tend to be atheists. So they took away her comics, video games, internet access and her collections when she was 16. But she would just go to her boyfriend's to gain access to it.

This all happened becuase of her wimpy, low life, nerdy boyfriend who she met when she was 14. He corrupted her. He turned her into a nerd. Introduced her to liberal ideology, the idea of not having children and atheism. She was absoutly infuatiated by him. By 15, her boyfriend's parents were buying birth control for her behind my parent's back. They were having sex. My parents were in so much shock they refused to believe it.

She threw a fit when my parents told her that they would not pay for her to go to University, becasue they tend to be run by liberal atheists. She refused to go to church and one day we forced her. She then swore at the priest, claimed there was no God and all sorts of things to get her thrown out. When we got home she claimed we were violating her "religious freedoms". We scoled and punished until she reconverted, but she was only faking it.

Around the Midnight of her 18th birthday she let her boyfriend in to our house, packed up her stuff and drove away while we were asleep. She left a note saying that her boyfriends parents were pay for here tuition and that she'll never have kids.

Got kicked out of university in the US for academic dishonesty. Can I start over in another country?

I was in Engineering and just kicked out cause I used a cheating mechanism to help me last semester. I never liked what I was doing and was trying to change majors but the university wouldn't let me coz they're stuck up as*-ho***. Since I am an international student, I have now come home and want to apply to univ again. I am looking at Canada this time, and want to study something I like. I want to start over and will apply as a new student.I do not plan on telling the university in Canada that I have studied elsewhere for 2 years. Since it's a completely different country, will this be a problem. I'm worries to show them my transcript since the scope of this academic dishonesty was so big that I don't want university's to reject me just because of that.

I don't know what to do, but I'm SURE that I still want to do college.

If you fail enough classes in community college will they kick you out?

No, only if you are in a program then they may kick you out of that. Say you are in the teaching program to become a teacher.

I failed most of my classes and my university kicked me out, it feels like the end of my life. Has anyone been in this situation? What solution would you recommend? I'm an international student, complicating the situation more.

First of all, flunking out of college is not the end of the world. I did it. Lots of people have. I have yet to die penniless in the gutter, although I suppose that could happen...Now, what to do:First, if you can arrange it, get a medical check-up. Maybe you can still get a free one through the school. Knowing that you're physically okay, which you probably are, is a big step towards feeling better overall.Second, make an appointment to talk with someone at the school, a dean or a department chair. Explain your situation and where your head is at right now and ask for advice. University people are, on the whole, intelligent people who are interested in the students and want to help. Accommodations can be made, rules can be bent, BUT----this is important! Now is the time for honesty. Do not waste someone's time promising to be the bestest student ever and finish all your classes if you are not sure you really can, or even want to. It's entirely possible that you are really confused right now and can't even decide what to have for lunch, much less what you are going to do with the next year of your life. If that is the truth, then say so. You have nothing to lose by being honest. The worst the school can do is kick you out and they've already done that. Talk to someone there. Lay your cards on the table and ask for help. If you feel embarrassed and all alone right now, take comfort in knowing that you are not the first person to go through this kind of crisis, nor the first person to go through this at Iowa State, perhaps not even the first person this month. It happens. It can be dealt with. You will make it to the other side of this just fine. Now go look at some lolcats or something. Relax. Get busy tomorrow.

Where should I study college? philippines or USA? pls help.?

Where should I study college? philippines or USA? pls help.?

ok, so i will be a senior in highschool this september. (supposedly 2nd year college in philippines)...we've been here for 4 years now and college is expensive.

if I apply for scholarship and let us say, i failed a couple subjects, what would happen?..like I dont want to think about the pressure and studying at the same time. Im not comfortable with that..

furthermore, If i just graduate here in some community or local colleges, im thinking that it would be better to go back home and enroll in universities so that my resume is more presentable when I comeback here...

I get good grades here and im planning to fail some subjects so that my parents would send me back home..=P

while, if I study in the philippines, atleast I can enroll to any top universities and I feel comfortable with my surroundings....
ehehe.. then after college, comeback to the US..

what are the disadvantages and advantages??
any advice mga kababayan?
thanks!

How can I take care of a citation for a minor in possession of alcohol without my parents knowing? (State of Texas)?

I am 18 years old, last night I was with some friends on campus and there was open alcohol in the room we were in. University police found out and escorted us outside of the room and questioned us. I remained silent except to deny that I was drinking when asked. They could smell the alcohol, but they did not administer a breathalyzer test. I am already aware that I will have to pay a fine, as well as a court fee, and if I am placed on deferred disposition then I will have my license suspended for 30 days, and complete 8-12 hours of community service by taking an alcohol course. I just really need to do this without my parents finding out. Is there anyone who has been through this before that can help me? I honestly have no idea what to expect, and if I need an attorney, I have no idea how to contact the one appointed to me. I also have no idea how the court hearing works or what I need to say. Please help, my parents will be so disappointed if they find out.
