Can You Give An Example Of How

Can you give an example of nobility.?

They were certainly noble in the end, when Rick (despite his love for Ilsa) gave the papers to Laszlo and Ilsa to get out of Casablanca, and to save their lives. He tried to make things right between Laszlo and Ilsa too. That was noble for sure.

Rick was also very noble when he saved the young girl from the onslaughts of Captain Renault. Her husband was gambling away their money, and she was willing to sell herself to Renault to gain their freedom. Rick made sure her husband won enough money to get out of Casablanca, saving the man's wife from having to do "whatever" with Renault.

Laszlo - hmmmm. Nobility, huh? I mean clearly he was a man of sacrifice, fighting for the French resistance. He risked his life for the people to fight against the Nazis. As far as a specific act of nobility, it is hard for me to think of. He came into the picture having escaped from a concentration camp I believe. He fights to get the papers. He leaves with his wife whom he loves dearly. The only thing I could say that was noble was that I think he knew that Rick and Ilsa were in love. I think it was rather noble that he accepted Rick's story, and left with his wife graciously instead of starting a fight.

Good luck on your homework!

Can you give an example of how a sentence with the same meaning looks like in Hakka, Minnan, Shanghainese, Cantonese, and Mandarin?

Sure! Let’s look at the sentence “they have not eaten.”Cantonese: 佢地仲未食飯Hakka: 佢等還吂食飯Mandarin: 他們還沒吃飯Minnan: 亻因猶未食飯Shanghainese: 伊拉還麼吃飯They are completely different, aren’t they? They don’t sound similar at all either.Cantonese: koei tei chung mei sik faanHakka: gi den han mang siid fanMandarin: ta men hai mei chi fanMinnan: in iáu‑buē tsia̍h pn̄gShanghainese: i ia we mo che veAnd in some sentences, their grammar could be totally different. A few, lesser known dialects in the Southwestern and Northeastern parts of the country even use a VOS order, or verb-object-subject!EDIT: typo and spelling

Can you give an example of how and why you let go of a talented but difficult employee?

The No Asshole Rule applies here.Even if you have an enormously talented individual, the multiplicative detrimental effects of uncivil behaviors on all of the staff around them will create a net-negative environment for the company to succeed.I have a second hand example to share.  A retail environment had a super successful sales person who constantly led his site in sales.  But he was predatory to his fellow salespeople, stole sales from others, and had a very offensive air of superiority.  Though his metrics would suggest that he was the most valuable salesperson at the site, the total sales at the site leaped up once he was fired.Focus not on the individual, but the whole team.  Then, focus on that person's effect on the team.

Can you give an example of how Physics can explain a psychological phenomenon?

What about Weber–Fechner law - Wikipedia ? It’s about human perception, but widely used in astronomy. However I’m not sure if you could tell that it’s example of physics explaining psychological phenomenon… Maybe it’s rather proof, that that physics and psychology can be described with mathematics, and sometimes formulas are very similar…Anyway, it’s always good to learn something new, so read Wikipedia article and decide if it’s good answer!

Can you give an example of true and faithful friends?

They are true and faithful friends if:

- they really care for you
- they don't talk negative things about you when you turn your back on them
- they are loyal, honest
- they will go and talk to you when you feel alone, stressed, sad, etc
- they will talk to you straight when you have an attitude / personality that is hated
- they respect you
- they're always there trying to help and encourage you
- they'll do anything to keep you safe

What is a non-ionic cleaner? Can you give and example?

It is difficult to find a clear answer. As far as I can tell there are a couple of possiblities.

1. LO-IONIC CLEANERS AND DETERGENTS
All Micronova detergents are filtered to 0.1 microns - offering the purest choice for cleaning in controlled environments. Although the company does not make any disinfectant claims on the cleaners they fit applications for neutral cleaning such as glass cleaning, curtain cleaning and adhesive removal within pharmaceutical processing areas. NovaClean is a concentrate for general wall and floor cleaning. No mobile ions mean it will not generate a static charge. The NovaHol formulation is blended with alcohol offering fast drying, non-streaking properties important for cleaning glass surfaces and vinyl curtains. MegaClean is for removing adhesive and label residues and heavy soils.

2. I believe the term may have something to do with the safety of the product for us and for the environment. I think a non-ionic cleaner may have "non-ionic surfactants" in them.

A tough topic to research!! I hope this helps.

What is a real and virtual image? Can you give some examples?

I'd prefer if you gave some clear context for your question. In Physics, The real-life reflections you see in bathroom mirrors are virtual images. On the other hand, if you have ever used a camera, still or video, the image formed is a real image. Images formed in our own retinas(part of our eyes) are real images.

Can you give an example of how to calculate the NAV of a shipping company?

NAV is total assests minus total liabilities divided by shares outstanding. And it referrs to mutual funds. NAV for a single stock or company would be book value per share, since the calculation of NAV and book value per share are the thing. Just that book value refers to a company and NAV referrs to mutual funds. If the shipping company you are talking about is publicly traded go to yahoo finance and their book value will be listed already.

Can you give an example of sensitivity analysis?

Sensitivity analysis is the study of how the correct choice based on unknown variables is affected by changes in those variables. So by that I mean, how likely to change is the expected "best decision" as a function of how much the variables upon which that decision is made change.

So maybe you're trying to buy a car, and you expect to drive 100 miles a week for the next 10 years. Which car is cheaper over the course of those 10 years - one which is cheaper to buy or one which uses less gas. The answer depends on how much cheaper is one car or how much less gas the other one uses. Sensitivity analysis would examine exactly how much cheaper the car would need to be, or how much more fuel effecient the car would need to be, before the decision on which car to buy would have to change.
