Can You Give Me Advice About My Hair Situation

Can you rate me please and give me advice for a new hair cut?? Picture included?

Your hair's a little frizzed. I would get it cut to chin length, give it some body on the sides and part your hair in the middle across your forehead.

The shorter hair will show off your long neck and draw attention to your face instead of your forehead. I'm picturing an 11!

Can you guys give me some advice about hairstyles?

Hi. I've had the same haircut and color my whole life and I feel like it's time for a change. I will include some pictures of my hair and hopefully you guys can give me some opinions... as long as it's still long, I hate short hair. I was thinking about getting long layers with a side bang.. and dying it a dark brown/burgandy color.

Can you give me advice with makeup?

*For a vintage-y makeover to go with your clothing style:
I would suggest using foundation ONLY to cover zits. Olive is a beautiful skin tone and can be used to your advantage when played up and contrasted with the right plush and eye shadow.
Try using a darker shade of pale pink (often described as "wine"), on the highest parts of your cheekbones. Then, lightly dust golden eyeshadow across your lids. Make sure not to use too much. For lip stick or lip gloss, I suggest a shimmery natural shade. As for eyeliner, liquid or pencil will work fine. I suggest a brown on the top lids and half of the bottom. Use length defining mascara. This will give you that vintage look, while still looking natural.

*For venturing edgy...
Try blush with more of an orang-ish pink tint. Use light pink lip gloss and, if you're really feeling daring, use some light green eyeshadow. Then line your eyes with black liquid eyeliner and use volume-defining mascara.

What advice would you give someone who's cutting off their long hair for the first time?

Unless a client is very insistent of cutting the hair hair short, I would normally ask the to try a slightly shorter hairstyle than the previous length. This way the client can try various hairstyles , so may find something she likes.Keeping hair long takes some effort and difficult to look good while growing back to a previous long hair. I generally advise this way.Note the someone is usually a female, men rarely ask to cut their short if they have kept it long unless under compunction. Now,if a woman desires short hairstyle, I will frame the hair around the face and over shoulder and neckline to how the suitability of a particular hairstyle at that length. I will subtly discourage the hairstyles I feel not suitable. And the clothes may not fit that haircut too.Ultimately, it is the client's choice, so after consultation, if the client still insists despite my professional advice, I will add a final disclaimer but I start cutting. However, I will design the hairstyle most attractive at that length. Generally, I don't have to do that as I always create good rapport and trust ith my client.Usually insistent clients have a unrelated frustrating, a haircut is way of changing the mood, so I try to remove the emotional aspect from that decision.

What was advice you gave someone and they ignored, and then got into a situation that would not have happened if they listened to your advice in the first place?

Thanks for asking, Alejandro. There may be many to different people at different times. One that comes to mind is to my middle son.He is a bit carefree sort in giving away money if he has in pocket. He is poor in documentation, despite being an accounts expert. He is now a qualified chartered accountant. When he felt fed up from working in firms, he wanted to go for own business. My firm advice was to avoid investing. Not only that, I told not to invite investors. It was difficult to have a financial control in a company, even if these were best of friends. It is an established problem in third world countries. He ignored. He went all alone concealing what he was doing. One of his partners ran away with the capital. My son was exposed to big trouble. THE AXE FELL AND HE GOT HIS HEAD CHOPPED OFF. . . . . . He is now making amends and is trying his best to face the consequences.THERE IS NO NEED TO SHARE MONEY UNLESS ONE IS CAPABLE OF HANDLING SITUATIONS INDEPENDENTLY IN PRIVATE SET UPS….
